Thanks to eBay seller lena81822 we have some in-hand images of Hasbro's upcoming Transformers Generations Deluxe Rattrap. Rattrap, along with Crosscut and Tankor, were originally planned to make up Generation Deluxe Wave 3, however that wave has been cancelled. Luckily all three are still going to be released in future waves. Rattrap and Tankor will be included in an upcoming Generations Wave 2 revision. Check out the images mirrored below:

be happy you have pictures, some people could act you complain about mistransformation with pictures/video wont bother posting them until stores get them instock.

In your comparisons, all I can pick out are the shoulders and the tail, which have both been left hanging down, and I don't see how that's such a big deal.
Of course, there's also the jazz hands, in which case it occurs to me that you might be joking.
Either way, I like this guy and I can't wait to find one.

yeah. I really really really am looking forward to this guy. Rattrap was the first original Beast Wars that I got (after the Prime/Megatron 2pack) so I'm looking forward to him. I don't understand the clear weapons either though, what is up with that?
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy
