The final post from the Takara Tomy booth of the Tokyo Toy Show 2015, after a long night of posting from the Seibertron.com staff, is a peculiar if intriguing offering. Via the TakaraTomyMall official Twitter account, we have an image of a redeco of Revenge of the Fallen Leader class Megatron - now named Nightmare Megatron - which will apparently be able to be pre-ordered for 14,904 yen (approx $121) from Friday, June 20th to Monday, July 6th. The figure is limited to 2,000 pieces, and scheduled for release on October 24, 2015 via TakaraTomyMall.

There are, however, no other details at the moment as to what line it is part of, or why the redeco appears at this point in time. What do you make of it? Take a look at the mirrored image below, and let us know in the Energon Pub!

That Megatron look sweet as hell! I already have the regular ROTF leader so I don't feel the need to own this one.

Still, if anyone don't have him, why go to Ebay to buy the original when you can have a sweet-ass limited edition for the same price?

yeah, that one THEY CANCELLED, instead of the not so good leeader class, i mean really, there are 4 version, (the original, the shadow command(the black and gold), the dark energon(in dotm) and now another exclusive? why they didnt at least fix his stupid elbow at least? like, mmm dotm leader optimus including the "takara only exclusive" buster gun, the abs, the arm armos(which isnt exactly noticeable because is under the vehicle panels) the fingers(premium ultimate) i mean, they remolded a lot, on that figure, but nothing on megatron which honestly needs it, so no voyager silver megatron and no remolded leader -_-

That would be a nice move by Takara, but this business re-releasing older movie figures seems to include either leader class guys or HA figures. Don't hold your breath.

Because they were already released in general retail over there. The only reasons MP Movie Bumblebee (aka Battle Op Bumblebee) and MP Movie Starscream (aka HtfD Leader Starscream) worked was because they were not part of any regular line there.

Besides, Optimus Prime and Megatron are better milking cows than Sentinel Prime and Ironhide will ever be

I just hate how he doesnt really transform. There is no piece that gets uncovered or new colours or parts, its just a slight displacement of his limbs.

Also, this upgrade did fix that dwarf arm:

Via toy blogger Alfes2010, and thanks to a notification from fellow Seibertron.com user and Twincast podcaster xRotorstormx, we get a look at the recently released (exclusively at Toys'R'Us Japan) Black Knight Optimus Prime from the Movie Advanced line. The figure, which you see below, is a redeco of the Armor Knight retool of Leader class Optimus Prime from the fourth live-action film, including the slightly different weapons and the faceplate feature.

Fan of Nemesis Prime who don't already have the mold will jump on him for sure!

I already got that Optimus retool so I will pass. However, I will have a pair of AOE Nemesis Primes in the form of the Power Battler version thanks to HLJ's flash sale. One I will open, the other will be kept sealed.
