Fellow Seibertronian AzT has spotted a new press release over at Hasbro HQ, concerning their current CEO Brian Goldner - and it looks he will be CEO for three more years, as his contract has been extended! You can find out more information below.

PAWTUCKET, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) today announced that its Board of Directors has agreed with the Company’s Chairman, President and CEO Brian Goldner to extend the term of his employment agreement another three years through 2020.

As the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hasbro, Inc., Mr. Goldner is responsible for bringing Hasbro’s brand blueprint strategy to life globally through innovative play experiences and engaging storytelling around Hasbro’s premier brands, and the development of long-term relationships with strategic partners. This includes the execution of brands across demographics and consumer touch points including entertainment, digital gaming, marketing and e-commerce, as well as the Company’s burgeoning consumer products business.

They always mention Littlest Petshop but like Fur Real pets and Even furbies they seem to have a very shallow footprint or don't exist at all in the UK near me - strange that. Maybe it's the same issue there is with Marvel toys - very iffy distribution.

oh god no, it is because this "censored" that the transformer figures became so cheap and boringly simple,(unpainted as well) and small and everything bad, there have been GREAT molds but a couple every 100 even if they got a bigger profit, is really killing the franchise

Some think they are starting to get a bit better in terms of paint, sure you still get the odd unpainted wheel and clip on wheels but they are not quite so totally lacking in paint as they got for a while.

I kind of notice it more on the smaller toys than I do the bigger ones when there is a lack of paint.

But you do get a situation on the larger toys which still annoys where all the paint in in one mode.

Lack of paint isn't the only Hasbro irritant though 5POA is another issue that refuses to die too. It is pretty vexing when someone pays over $100.00 for a vehicle and gets a 5poa figure with it.

I just hope Hasbro realises in the Last Knight toyline how disappointing a lot of the stuff aimed young was for the previous Movie and doesn't repeat the debacle of the previous movie where the main distribution was for the worst of the toys.
