Lol, you said Frick, the old version bumblebee is really hard to find. I got one though. I like the 2008 one more though.
I have to keep it clean here.

Funny, because I'd settle for the '74 Bumblebee and just forget hunting down a '08 one.

This will probably answer most of the questions you have in mind about Bumblebee.

lol if you dont find one between now and the the 1st official wave 2 rollout during the 4 weeks of august, I think he will be hard to find so good luck.
In the US, the movie has made these guys hard to stay stocked everywhere Ive checked, which was the reason for the heads up.

Very nice pics, lighting is excellent to see him in.
Your Bumblebee has the same issues with the yellow paint on the doors as mine does, must be a run-wide problem.
Not much but it does detract from the best figure of the movie line. I have had him for about a week now, cant stop messing around with him.
Be careful though, as the bonnet Automorph can slip, I had to coerce mine to get it back into the right position.

None of the stores in my area have the new deluxe figures.I live in a town with one walmart, one target and one TRU.The only advantage is when they do come out im sure to get one.Not a whole lot of TF collectors in the area that i know of

Well, I can't find any of these in Connexticut or in the NYC Times Square TRU. Damn. This figure looks awesome, though.

I haven't seen this one yet. I didn't plan on buying more than two movie figures, but if I see him, maybe I'll up that to three.

Why does the Camaro mode have thick blue lines on the cracks used to transform?
After having my hands on three of the toys today, and having to return one for exchange because he was so crappy, I can indeed say his paint is somewhat poor. All 3 had the same paint problems, basically the paint on the clear blue door pieces sucks and doesn't run to the edges very well, leaving thick blue lines all around the door. Some better paint quality control would be good, but for a 9 dollar figure, I'm happy enough.
We're going to repaint one with some hobby paint and see how it looks.
Returned the one because it was an absolute joke. It's arm popped off no less then 3 times transforming it from car to bot and back, always the same arm. If you even tried to pose the arm, it just kinda fell out of its socket. Then the leg did the same thing twice and I said to hell with it, since it wouldn't even stand up on it's own from all the loose joints, including the waist joint. The new one was much much much better, and I just wonder why that other one was so troublesome.
