Once again Hasbro has updated Transformers.com with news about a new product. The product is a limited edition XIP3 Transformers jacket. Here is what was posted about the jacket:

""Introducing: The world's first triple function jacket, the Xip3 TRANSFORMERS Limited Edition converts from a jacket into a backpack or a pillow with the ease of a zipper! " The XIP3 is one of a kind and is sold exclusively online at http://www.XIP3.com. The XIP3 is a limited edition and each XIP3 has a unique number. The XIP3 is available in November featuring two distinct colors, red with black accents, and black with red accents."

Yet another way to make money off the franchise! It looks more like a sweatshirt, though, and I doubt that backpack can hold much.

Still, I can see it already: "It's kinda chilly, Bumblebee. I'd better bring my ultra-hip Xip3 super jacket!"

A piece of related merchandize that is actually interesting to me. The product may not be a great thing but I do like the concept.

That is f***'ng awesome!!! The design of the jacket is very futureistic anime inspired. If i can save some money, i'll definately buy one!!

Dude, I saw on the website that you've got to sign up for these awesome things because they're only making a limited and , get this, numbered! amount of them. I want #13 if I can afford it too! :-?
