I got the idea from a post i saw here a while back but i cant seem to find it now if anyone could point me in the right direction of it that would be most helpfull.
Anyway the idea is a skeleton made of bionicle parts over which parts from other kits are stuck to create a very posable but non transforming figure.
Now in the post i saw they were using a car kit i am unsure of what character he was building but they also had pics of a very impressive powerglide made in this way
Now that got me to thinking how cool it would be to do more of the minibots in this way so here is the beginings of my attempt at Warpath from bionicle and an academy M551 Seridan kit.

Bionicles are very much the kitbasher's friend. Have you considered looking for a way to make it transform? That'd make it even more kick-arse. Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing how you do.

last pics before i do alot of detailing going to get a bit creative as the kit has a lot of parts left that are not on the original toy or MTMTE profile pics so this will be my own version of him i am still going to keep the colours G1 so far all is going well just have to try and lower the upper body a little and mod the joint to give him even more posability
next upddate he will be finished

hey that's shaping up nicely. and timshinn73 powerglide is a true inspiration. I remember that from a little while back. Have you guys seen ridiculously insane piece of work?
