Does anyone have the KO of Raiden that seems to be pretty common right now? I've seen it on Toyhell and all over eBay, anyone have anything to say about the quality?
Seibertron's gallery's appear to picture two versions of each of the trains in train mode, with what I assume to be the knockoff having slightly brighter, less subdued but mostly on the mark colors. However the galleries from what I can tell don't show the knockoff along side it's counterpart in robot mode.
Anyone got the skinny? I've been watching the Headmaster subs lately and have been getting more interested in the characters.
KO Raiden?

The Raiden KO I have is first rate. No die-cast content of course but much better than the Devastator and Superion KO's floating around right now.
Mold is great, no paint overspray. combines well and sturdy.
Only real complaint is the cheap stickers that come off very easily.
Still a KO mind you, but a good one IMO.

I have a Raiden KO, although mine is about 3/4 the size of the original.
Colours are similar, but the plastic quality is terrible, even for KO's. Trying to get the combined form to hold together is nigh impossible, mine can only stay in Gestalt form thanks to some Supergluing of broken parts back together.
If you can find the Ko for a few Dollars (I only paid AU$8 for mine) then he is worth it, but I wouldn't spend any more than that on him.
From what I have heard of the original figure, he's a hoot to own, but is not as good as the RID trainbots.

Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

Aside from the aforementioned stickers and the fact that mine came with two right hands for the gestalt I've got no complaints. The arms on a couple of the smaller bots may break in time, but I hear that these are one of the more delicate areas on the original anyway. Hopefully Reprolabels will get round to doing a Raiden set eventually.

I emailed reprolabels about making a Raiden set a few months back and they told me if enough people want it they might do it but no plans right now at all.
So the more people that email reprolabels about it the better the chance that they might make the set. hint..hint...

I have KO Raiden and he's fine. Everything fits and no bad paint apps.
The hardest part is the "hip" train parts. They sometimes pop off, but I heard the orig had the same issues.
It's worth $10 - $15, I wouldn't pay anymore than that.
I've ordered quite a few things from ToyHell, but make sure you E-mail him first to see if he has it in stock.
You can find the KO Raiden on eBay for $10, sometimes. Make sure to get the one in the flat box, like the other Gestalts come in, not the minione on a blister card.
