The latest G1 Mirage reproduction is out and it is a Diaclone 'Red' version which looks awesome IMHO:

It is a highly sought after Diaclone version though that only was available in a Gift Set alongside the ehobby exclusive Deepcover and Ultra Magnus (names were different from the Diaclone line). It was called Powered Convoy DX. The set is extremely rare:

The seller has posted more:

High end collectors will love this release.

I grabbed one.

I have both the Nemesis and Clear releases, and knowing the history of this one makes it that much cooler.

And I can vouch for the quality BTW. The gun is not held very tightly in the hands, and the waist is quite easy to turn, but otherwise, these are incredible reproductions.

I know some people don't want to tarnish their collections, but these are awesome!!!

I agree totally. The Red version alongside the Clear one are the best IMHO. I also grabbed the Nemesis and regular one to complete the set. Having them all beside each other alongside my BT-18 Clear Rijie release is awesome.

Throw in the Botcon exclusive 'giveaway', and it is the perfect set.

I'm looking forward to a display now though with my Diaclone colored Ultra Magnus re-issue, my red Mirage, and my E-Hobby Clamp Down/Deep Cover to put on the trailer.

Closest I'll get to that set!

Good point regarding the BOTCON giveaway. Would love to see what you have noted with the figures above. Post a pic when you have the chance on this thread please.

Now if they could only get around to doing a Bluestreak repro and then the inevitable Diaclone Bluestreak versions which we should have gotten as kids then my life will be complete:

from the G1 catalogue

http://diaclones.com/gallery.php?mode=v ... 00&start=0

and from the show (which ehobby did anyway):

http://diaclones.com/gallery.php?mode=a ... Z%2FSilver

It would be better than paying these kind of prices for one:

See, I love the mold, but I'd never pay that kind of money for any Tf, other than a Grand Maxx MISB.

I'll try to get that pic.

cool mold, though wish they'd painted the face to add a little more color to it. for a reproduction it costs very high though. 9)
