Yes, they are your typical re-issue, except that TRU in the US must conform to new toy safety laws, so many of the missiles have been extended and blunted, and chrome is missing from some of the weapons that had them previously.
Other than that, they are really cool, and a great way to get the toys into your collection.

The reissue Soundwave is in a classics box.
It's actually Soundblaster repainted as Soundwave, though.

However, their is no real big difference between the two types.
Does TRU have other G1 reissues? I only know of the Soundwave one.

If you're talking about Soundwave, there is a big difference between the 2 molds, Soundblaster can hold 2 cassetacons, instead of 1.

TRU you HAD them about two years ago. At this point in time, you would need to look at stores like 'Tuesday Morning' or eBay because TRU has been cleaned out of them for over a year.
The only ones you may still be able to find out there are Classics Soundwave (maybe), and the minibot key chains.
Walmart.com has the Takara Encore series for sale, but the prices are not really friendly.

I think we need an answer from Optimus since he started the thread, and made it sound like many of them were in TRU right now. Additionally, this is the second thread that I have seen like this in two days, so maybe some of the Commem got out to stores again. Optimus are you out there?

WEll, they have KO's, and they have carried the occasionally marked down items. TRU G1 Re-Issue Rodimus Prime was found there by many folks.

TRU have a load of the reissues in last time I looked. Maybe the guy who started the thread, like me, lives in the UK?

For anyone who hasn't seen Spotlight: Sledge (and why not?!), my gritty and dark fanfiction piece "Holiday" is posted here.

There's a TRU that opened near me and I checked it out. They only had Skywarp, Red Alert, Tracks and Prowl in
