[No Death for Prowl]

While I don't hate my Alternators Sunstreaker(how can I hate any of my beloved TFs?), I agree that he is one of the weaker Alternators. Out of the 7 that I have, Sunstreaker is probably my least favorite.

Part of the problem is that he's just TOO big; there seems like a lot of empty dead space in car mode and he is just too gangly looking as a robot. He really sticks out like a sore thumb when lined up next to the other Alts. Also, I don't how his chest folds in, but rests against the gear lever....seems like lazy engineering there.

That said, I still like him, his alt mode still looks pretty sharp and his transformation is not as frustrating as some of the other figures in this line(looking towards Shockblast), but this definitely not a mold that should have been used more than once.

I still find the occasional Scion in stores, but yea, no new ones will be coming out, unless you get lucky and someone clears out a warehouse or something.

While Prime is my least favorite, there are tons of little mods and alternate transforms for him. I popped on a custom Ironhide head, and I like him a lot better!

SDCC Rodimus is a big favorite for me! I like both modes. I'm very glad I got him, and extra glad I LIKE him lots because of what I shelled out for him. I missed the post about him on hasbro.com by like an hour

i was in the middle of planning to turn sunstreaker into alt bumblebee (cause he already had the paint scheme) but i couldnt find a head to match well so i gave up i have a alt rumble and ravage MISB that i got on clearence but being i alrady had them i dont really need them =\

I have 15 or 16 Alt/BT and Sunstreaker is not my least favorite or my most favorite. I am sorry to say that my least favorite is Optimus Prime.

Well, I ended up putting him on ebay over the weekend. Hopefully, I can get $20 for him. No point in keeping a transformer I didn't like. Sorry Sideswipe, no twin brother for you. I only have 7 Alts now and am pretty much done with the line. I use to have Rumble and Ravage but traded them for Mirage. Of the 7 I own, here's how I would ranked them:

1. Jazz
2. Hound
3. Prowl
4. Mirage
5. Silverstreak
6. Wheeljack
7. Sideswipe

Also thinking about getting the reprolabels for Wheeljack to make him look more G1. But him and Mirage look pretty cool standing next to each other in their contrasting blue and white deco.

i bought a few binaltechs when they first came out but sold them apart from meister red and lambor. They look great in robo or car mode but can i really be bothered transforming them???? the whole process is so frustrating especially as each transformation does add to chips/loseness (the sheer number of moving parts makes this inevitable and to a higher degree than the regular kiddie based tfs's). maybe im lazy but i like the simple flip/flip/twist of the kiddieformers.

I have one other BT that im keeping sealed......wonderfest convoy!

You know I couldnt agree with you more on this topic right down to the thread name itself... I really hate the **** out of my Sunstreaker.. He blows. poor articulation, fisher price looking head mold , bird chest ( if you will ) just all around bad so I agree sir whole heartedly!
