It's waaaaaaay too much money and I hate painting / assembling my figures. I also dislike the open mouth, but if there's another one, then I guess that solves that problem. Gotta say the Daniel Headmaster is nice. Although a 10-year-old boy driving a pink car ... if I had seen that as a kid my respect for Danny woulda been shot right to Hell. It's nice for a fanmade item tho.
Energon Arcee was good enough for me, but I have to admit to looking forward to the Animated version. Although I have to admit, I am NOT sorry we're not getting Titanium Arcee. She just doesn't look right. G1 or no G1.

I think the figure looks really good. My main concern is the price. It puts it way beyond the reach of the normal collector and as it is unpainted and has to be assembled it seems a blatantly ridiculous price to me. The fact that it is rare does not make it ok to expect to get such a huge amount for it when you are basically going to recieve possibly what sounds to me like an 'airfix' transformer. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for it. Anyway - the movie Arcee is pretty good and it would be a bit daft for her to be still exactly as she was in G1 form now anyway compared to other figs.

Well, it's certainly unfortunate, if as alleged this guy has been dishonest with and otherwise lacking in his dealings with customers, and if, the product has the reported quality issues.
However, I wouldn't call it crap. The design is incredible. It's impressive on a level that only a handful of official TF figures have reached. That's an amazing achievement, and far from 'having nothing better to do', what better use of idle time could there be?
As impressive as the actual design is, it's way out of my price range. It's tragic that a design of this caliber is restricted to such a tiny limited run, produced to a standard that is found to be lacking, and priced so far out of reach.
It would really make my day if one of these ever found it's way into the hands of those various anonymous Chinese bootleggers. If the guys doing the more upmarket Mirage and Swoop KOs did a run on this, it would be sweet.
