Armada Prime. Sure, I still love him, but back in the day it was all like 'OMFG! 8453 M0D3ZZZZ! ZUP3R R0807 M0D3ZZZ!!'
Then the other Primes came out up till now, and Armada Prime just seems kinda meh.

Same here, just the Prime that pushed him down was Powermaster Prime!

Oh, there's no competition between PM Prime and Armada Prime.
PM just kicks so much ass. So much to play with! So many different modes!
I was putting some more boxes from tfs in the loft the other day, and looked in PM Prime's box. Hi-Q was still in there!
He now stands proudly at the front of my Prime shelf.

So how did you transform him, did you use the all mighty finger

Oh that reminds me, I still have to move into that new room of mine and free my collection, which is still in storage.
Then PM Prime will step on movie Bonecrusher!

G1 Starscream and Grapple. I really didn't care for Starscream when I got him as a gift in the early 80's. I never asked for another toy like him ever again. I was the happiest kid around when I opened that one up, only to have a frown on my face a few hours later. Grapple was the same way. I remember constantly pestering my parents for one, thinking how cool it would be to have a larger construction vehicle than all of the Constructicons. They still remain today as some of my least favorite Transformers.

Sometimes, just checking one more store isn't worth it

When you guys talk about Powermaster Prime, are you talking about the G1 Brick? Or is there another Prime of the same name that I don't know about?

It's the Brick.

He's not that much of a brick. He does have joints in his legs and shoulders.
Yeah, I use my finger to tf him.
But since he's currently in ultra mode with god bomber, Hi-Q gets displayed on his own so that he isn't hidden from view.

Oh OK, now just a minute, Why haven't I thought about displaying them like that?

A few figures come to mind:
1. Cybertron Smokescreen - I love the G1 homage, but really don't like the way his arms look or all the kibble everywhere. Also he head bugs the crap out of me. I could overlook the kibble (or kitbash him to do something about it) but the head is just not Smokes. Anyone have an idea of who I could swap heads with to give him a more G1 accurate look?
2. Energon Inferno - Again, another case of a G1 homage being so close, yet so far away. I can't explain what I dislike about this figure, but I just was really disappointed when I got him. Same for Energon Roadblock, which is the essentially the same figure.
3. Titanium Soundwave - If you look at him in the package, he's posed as though the hips are at the bottom of the crotch, which makes him look 1000% better than when you take him out of the package and find out that the legs don't stay put there and he looks like he has a diaper or could film Cybertronian porno flicks. I still feel ripped off by this figure, b/c my reaction was to buy the Music Label Soundwave to display with my Classics. That figure is the antithesis of TI SW. Pure awesomesauce!

Um..no..actually...I've been pleased with all my..wait..Armada Sideways. He was boring, no poseablility. Luckily I only paid 2 bucks for him complete, so I have no regrets. Seriously, his MINICONS are cooler than him.

Octane. His unique Boeing/tanker truck transformations made him a personal favourite of mine... until I lost him in Asda while tying my shoelace. For years I swore I'd get him back some day, but looking at photos of him recently made me realize how horrendously proportioned he is in robot mode and how his arms stick out like a sore thumb in truck mode. I thought that perhaps my quest to retrieve Octane was quixotic, but now with Classics 2.0 and Jizaitoys' custom model around the corner, I'm drooling over the prospect of owning an even better Octane.

Metroplex...
Back in the day I loved that thing...now looking at pics I'm rather unimpressed with it...
Not sure why...I just am.
