Dropkick. I'm not a big fan of the movie toys, but he's a good 'un.

I picked up Movie Longarm lately. He's a nice toy, though his color scheme is sort of odd in bot mode. I'm thinking of making him into a G1 Hoist homage~
Shockwave would think my posts are logical...

Movie Wreckage and I bought a custom on ebay recently that was repainted as G1 Bludgeon looking very like the IDW Bludgeon. Love those flip out blades.
Like the fully poseable but non-transformable Barricade who seems similar in scale to G1 Prowl.
Oh and not forgetting Classics Ramjet.

Tidal Wave (Armada), Alt. Silverstreak, Classics Cliffjumper, movie Dropkick, Energon Towline and Skyblast, other good ones.
p.s. Classics Jetfire is worth every penny!

Armada Tidal Wave (Got a used one off ebay and it's awesome..well, except that the paint's a little scratched in areas and Ramjet's missing his wings...)
Alternators Jaguar XK Ravage (First, and only alternator in my collection...He's sitting on my desk in 'beast' mode watching over me.)
Armada Emergency Mini-Con team (An Osprey helicopter that turns into a double barrelled gatling gun, a fire truck that turns into a missile rack and a police car that transforms into a pistol...Sweet!)

Dropkick! Um, Classics Jetfire, Optimus Prime and Ramjet...
And Universe Skywarp. It's a weird body for him, but the coloring looks good and I have really, really grown to like it. Enough that I wouldn't mind a freaky set of Seeker repaints using the same mold.

How recent are we talking about? Since this summer, I would say that my most favorite one is my Alt. Silverstreak, which is one of the figures that got me back into collecting TF.

Re: What's youre favorite (pretty recent)toy?
I pict up G1 Blitzwing, sans weapons and turret for $5, this past weekend.
What makes it great is that I already had two cheap KO's that I was hoping to make into one good KO.
No I have a G1 Blitzwing with a KO Turret and Weapons! Best $5 ever...

Movie Wreckage and Protoform Prime, Classics Bumblebee and Voyager Prime, and any MP figure.

Re: What's youre favorite (pretty recent)toy?
This may be rule breaking, but I recently opened for the first time a Beast Wars Mach Kick that I've been sitting on for over a year.
This is the only figure that I have that I waited so long to open and use, and I only did so because I recently won another sealed on for a steal of a price.
Granted he looks like a Mexican Wrestler, but the use of "hair", and a very tricky intricate transformation have been making him very enjoyable.
However from the past year, I'd have to say Movie LongArm, that guy just gets better and better each time I pick him up

If we're talking recently aquired, it would definitely have to be G1 Megatron and Soundwave. I had forgotten how supremely awesome G1 toys were till I had these guys in my hands for the first in nearly 20 years.
If we're talking recently produced/released, it would probably have to be either Leader OP, Classics Voyager OP or Movie Voyager OP. Yeah, I'm a Prime nut.

Of the last few weeks, I've been enjoying Ultimate Bumblebee and his myriad of sounds while also admiring the coolness of Cybertron Primus.
For figure I've most admired the past few weeks, Alternators Grimlock has had me salivating every time I look at him!

I would have to say reissue sixshot or all of my classic 1.0 figures there isn't a single bad figure in the group.

Well by pretty recent I actually mean from beast wars on, so no g1 things. And I thought Classics was the best from al those lines

oooo most recently, I'd say Alternator Mustang Wheeljack and Movie Repaint Thundercracker. Its one of a few Movie ones I have, but I like it the most. Plus its not as ugly as Starscream is. Wheeljack has unearthed a hidden love for Mustangs, and its a great looking Transformer.

i know i'm 5 years late, but having just got him recently for a steal, i can't quite put down Armada Megatron just yet. he's a brick from waist down, but all those dang gimmicks really put a childish chuckle on me everytime i play with with and fiddle with the electronics. "Decepticons, attack!"

all the comments above are the HUMBLE OPINIONS of the said user only. 'nuff sed.

I'm still going to say Classics Skyfire(just can't bring myself to call him Jetfire).
Awesome G1 homage figure that I never thought I'd live to see Hasbro ever produce.
Perfect 10 in every way IMO.

Re: What's youre favorite (pretty recent)toy?
Well I have to say that
Beast Wars Optimus Primal season 1 version really impressed me, BW Cybershark and Polar Claw are awesome
Armada none...
Energon... Scopornok is a bad @ss kick toy
Movie Arcee is so well done in my opinion, Alt mode rocks
Classics all
But overall them my 1st place is for classics deluxe
MIRAGE
neat design, incredible articulation, the robot mode really reflects what kind of fast and unexpected spy he is, and is so amazing, I am currently giving first place among many many toys...
