KO TF's still available at drug stores??

Postby Chevy_Ironhide » Wed Jan 30, 2008 8:41 pm

I remember reading a thread a little bit before Christmas time that said there were knock off Transformers at drugstores like Walgreens and Dollar stores. They said they had Devistator KO's and afew others. Anyone see any lately? I'd like to have afew more Decepticons for my stop motion film I'm working on.

thanks!!

I find that Big Lots is best. They have loads of them form G1 to Armada.

I haven't seen any. But I did just buy a KO Megatron off of ebay for $10. I didn't want to buy a reissue/encore, or original G1 for the prices that are being asked and bid for him. He's not that great looking. So, this will be a first KO for me.

For those who do see any KO's in stores, lucky you. Over in my end, nada.

Well they don't have them at any drug stores here. Big Lots had some very cheap looking things that sort of looked like TF's, but they looked more like something you'd clean out a litter box with. I took one look at them and started laughing at how pathetic they were.

I bought a Devastator KO at Walgreens on New Years Day, but seriously, save your money and spend it on a vintage set. Unless you need some of the parts, the sets are basically garbage.

I've found Bruticus and Superion lately. No Devastator or Defensor.Which is lame cause I need Defensor more then Devastator.See I know they are crappy quality, but I haven't seen a legit combiner in so many years I've super glued them toghether and now I have a gesult army

TM2 Megatron is working on a $10 BigLots clone army!

I'm going to have so much fun destroying them! I also have a no name department store near me where I can get KO robot masters in packs of 4 for $8

They're so crappy that you just don't care about killing them :D

Walgreens as of January had knock offs of:
Devastator, Superion, Bruticus, Defensor. In all their fully plastic / halfway stickered goodness for the price of $5.99 each!!!

The Bruticus was already broken in the package! Seriously, how do they get away with selling these... did the copyrights expire or something?
