Classics and Henkei

Postby Gojira Prime » Sat Feb 02, 2008 6:03 pm

I'm currently interested in getting some classics figures namely Optimus Prime, Grimlock, and Jetfire. I also am looking to get the new Henkei Megatron, so my question is this: does anyone know where I can get these figures for a reasonable price?

BBTS has the Henkei line up for pre-order. And its about as well priced as you are going to find them here:

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu ... &company=6

It also has some Us classics in stock. Grimlock is going for 25.00 dollars.

Classcis Megs is going for 52 while the Henkei Megs is on Pre-order for 49.99

Seeing as they are not making these anymore, I'd pre-order the Henkei line. They are cheaper than the US classics.

I just found an eBay auction showing Prime with free shipping. I just asked the seller to accept an offer of $12.00.http://cgi.ebay.com/Transfomers-Classics-Optimus-Prime-mint_W0QQitemZ330208178833QQihZ014QQcategoryZ753QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Action HQ is asking $29.95 for Megatron. Depends on what Big Bad is asking for shipping, but I think Action HQ's price is a lot better.

My vote for the HOF goes to my favorite Transformer, Kup, to the Headmasters (who still need new figures that aren't just the characters without their master components) and to seibertron.com for for being the ultimate TF resource.

12 bucks is about fair for a loose Voyager Classics Prime. but if the seller won't accept your offer, the best price you could give for it would be about 15, but don't go for 20. i'm pretty sure some guys would be willing to let go of their Classics OP once Henkei hits the (online) stores, and you could get a good bargain for one.

It comes out to about the same. Action's shipping is quite a bit more expensive and BBTS around 25 dollars against 9 from BBTS to get it sent to me.

However BBTS's merchandise prices are a bit steep.

It will also depend on where it needs to be sent.

Since shipping to other places may be significantly more expensive to do from Hong Kong than it is from the U.S.

Your right about Action's shipping being higher, but I still kinda figure it's better than BBTS. If I understand the post right, BBTS asks $9 shipping. Assuming I do understand right, that'd put the total cost at around 58.99. With the shipping I'm paying Action, I end up saving $7.

More eBay woes:

I recently won a G1 Grimlock for $25.00, free shipping, and the seller says that she'll relist it if I don't pay soon, I just sent her an eMail and I hope she gets that I am sending Payment by tomorrow.

DO YOU HEAR ME LIVLEYAUCTIONS? I WILL SEND PAYMENT FOR GRIMLCK, WHO IS AN AUTOBOT BTW, BY TOMORROW, MONDAY FEBRUARY FORTH!!!!

Sorry for the DP, but as for Henkei, I hear tell Hobby Link Japan has good deals, but they run out of stock on things quickly, so if anyone knows an excact release date for Henkei, let me know.
