I have no problem with him being an armord type transport. Not one bit, I actualy like the alt.

What bothers me is that he's supose to be old, a diplomate I believe. Which again is fine. But it has me thinking why would someone worn and stately come out looking like a superhero reject?

'Cuz worn and stately doesn't sell to six-year-olds.

Leader class Ultra Magnus for the WIN!!!!!!!! Yes, he's finally his own mold. And as for character, I haven't heard of him being a diplomate. He's the freaking Supreme Commander of the Autobots, for goodness sakes. Remember G1 Optimus? He was
"only" Commander, so I'm thinking the Supreme Commander will be like Optimus on steroids.

Not that'd say redo him, but then how do you acount for Vector Prime who never lasted long in my area?

Very stately that figure, had the old look down pretty well too.

Some new Animated figures include:
- Supreme Class Optimus Prime,-cool, but why? Optimus is like the second tallest Autobot in the show, so why would he tower over Bulkhead and Megatron?

it's just a toy, man. leader class was never comparable with leaders and supremes.
Voyager class= deluxes that didn't fit the deluxe box.

Hopefully UM will have a completely different mold.

No doubt... I really think it will be new.

Have you seen the drawings of UM? He's a completely different vehicle than anyone else, There's no way for him to be a remold of something else.

I am looking forward to leader Megs and Ultra Magnus... a bit strange how Magnus is the supreme commander of the Autobots, but hey, always nice to have a change. I wonder how he would stack up against Megatron.
