Blaster really needs a new head, I've got the limited editon Soundblaster version of this mold and it's beautiful but the red on this one is kind of dull and odd.

If it had had a new head & minicon I'd have bought it just to be Soundblaster's nemesis but this is just a lazy repaint, so pass.

Heavy Duty looks pretty aweful.

Don't know his name, but a Japanese person. I linked his site in my earlier post. Check around at the rest of the stuff he's done, it's really good, he even did a Guiltor! He also customized some Beast Wars II guys in to their Cybertron forms(though this was before the Ascending), and all excpet Scuba look awsome.

Whoa. Where'd you get those pics, tigertracks? That's awesome. Oh, nevermind, I found it.

I'm still gonna get Hasbro's version, cause he's cool in-and-of himself, but he's not Blaster.

I'm thinking of getting 2 Animated Soundwaves whenever he is released, and kitbashing 1 of them into Blaster. That would make much more sense, in my opinion, since at least the Animated Soundwave mold is music-oriented.

I think hasbro is going to learn unless they do something other than repaint a figure they won't sell as well as they hope. Because I would be willing to be another version of cybertron soudwave if they had done a different head sculpt and maybe more blaster like color scheme. As far as the other wave one figures go all I have to say is wow now that I have seen them I color. Powerglide utterly disappoints me. WAAAAYYY too much white, not nearly enough red. If the Classics line (which this a direct continuation of) is supposed to bring us our favorite characters like they were in G1 w/new toy technology, they should've at least made him the right color. All the others look simply amazing though. (The real Classics that is. Cybertron repaints are...bleh to me)
