Thought you guys might want to see this. This is my e-mail to the Botcon people and their response.

And the response was...
Unfortunately not. It is still 1:1 you have to have purchased that
year's set to get the loose set. You can't mix years.

That's to be expected and makes a lot of sense really. Buying the bagged set is more than $100 cheaper. They're been consistantly firm about the rule.

I'm not totally surprised by it either but it was worth a try. Based on other threads I know a few other people were hoping to buy both.
I might do a little trading at Botcon this year, especially for an Ironhide.
