Does anybody remember, on the 1989 Pretender and Micromaster boxes they had not only the tech spec and regular character art, but also a close up of the character's face and a small paragraph of stuff they are saying?


I'm trying to find those, and botch's site doesn't seem to have them. Just the character pictures from the front. This site doesn't seem to either.

I'm dying to read ones for characters like the Monster Pretenders and Bludgeon and whatnot.


Does anybody remember what I'm talking about? Can anybody help me with this?

I know what you are talking about. As far as I know, it was only on the 1989 and later Mega Pretenders (boxed figures). Figures on a cardback (like Bludgeon) did not have the it.

I dug out a Crossblades box photo (which has it) and the Bludgeon card (to show it is not there).

Thanks for your help. I guess it was only the boxed figures then. Still, does anybody know a sight that has them?
