We haven't heard anything about that armor upgrade in a while, I wonder when it will be out. I must have it!

So do I, so do I. This figure just doesn't do him justice.
Agreed.

*groan* I think you people are taking the issue of Galvatron's size way out of proportion. (No pun intended.) I mean, let's face it: you're only arguing over a few inches. What counts is the design of the toy, not how big it is. Didn't your parents ever teach you that size doesn't matter?
It's when Galvatron is compared to other figures that problems arise. Megatron and Prime should not tower over Galvatron. They just shouldn't.
The figure looks good, and I'll buy at least one, but making him a deluxe was a mistake.

So, if this digibash were to end up in Henkei, you can bet I'd pass.
So what Galvatron ARE you faitful to? There are 3 Galvatrons from animated series I am aware of. G1, RiD (yuk!) and Energon.
Are you not a G1 fan? You're welcome to your own opinion of course, I just don't get why you don't care for the only truly developed Galvatron there is, and that's G1. This figure is the BEST representation I've seen and if I was able to buy it I would, and I would keep it in Robot mode at all times!

Classics Galvatron looks quite disappointing in most every respect right now. They got it right with Energon Galvatron at least.

There was G1, Beast Wars II (technically Gigatron but that seems to depend on the translations), RiD, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, a Cybertron Legends scale, and a Wondercon SCF. If you aren't sure of something, use the galleries for research. Hell, even eBay works as a viable search engine when it comes to Transformers.
As far as US releases, this is the ONLY TIME since G1 that Galvatron has had his own mold. He's always a purple Megatron the same way that Magnus is a white Optimus. Hell, when I first heard from Botcon last year that they were doing him I assumed that he was going to be a purple Classics Megs with a new head, arm cannon and MAYBE shell/wings at best.
I'm happy with the new mold and its coloring. I just wish he were going to be taller.

I'm just thrilled to get a Galvatron figure that isn't a repaint, AND bears striking resemblence to his G1 counterpart. Not a huge fan of the orange accents, but maybe that'll change before final release. I do wish there was a Voyager version coming, kinda like they did a deluxe and a Voyager for Megatron, but I'm buying this Galvatron as soon as I see him regardless. Pure love.

I like the Classics Galvatron. Can't wait to get him. His tank mode is unremarkable, but I love his bot mode. The coloring on the digibash is better, though. It's only a small difference, but a better one.

Good news: He’s the first Galvatron since the G1 toy that is not a repaint of an existing mold.
True, but Energon Megatron was basically a blue and gray Galvatron to begin with.
Energon Galvie is the best version of the character we've gotten thus far, IMO.
