Universe Ravage Speculation
As you know, deluxe hound will come with a cassette ravagethat will fit into soundwave. Since the only general market soundwave released modern day was Comm. Soundwave, but he included Ravage. So could the new ravage store in a UNIVERSE SOUNDWAVE??? Maybe they're scattering all casseticons into figures, like that beast wars thing.

Re: Universe Ravage Speculation
They said that there are currently no plans for a Universe Soundwave in the near future at the Hasbro panel. In fact they referred to the TRU release as Classics Soundwave. So I wouldn't be holding my breath for it.

No. Hasbro said their will not be a new Soundwave, that the Commemorative release was enough. The new Ravage is made only to fit in G1 Soundwave. The only question I have is if it is only the double wide cassette door and not the standard G1 Cassette door.

I'm gonna assume for now that he can fit into the original Soundwave. He was sittin on back of Hound in the pic and Hound is only a delux. Didn't seem to take up much room either.
Oh, since Ravage isn't coming with any weapons, I'm assuming again that the original missles will fit.

Ravage was shown without weapons. Someone asked about it though and was told that they just weren't being shown there.

I'm guessing ravage can fit somewhere on hound in cassete mode cause if a kid dosen't have soundwave what are they gonna do with a cassete?

Really, original Ravage had an amazing amount of articulation for the time. About the only additions could be the legs and neck side to side, the head bending separately from the neck, and the tail being flexible.

A couple things:
One is that I don't think he'll have more articulation.
As mentioned, the original has pretty sweet artic. already.
Second, Even though Hound and Ravage met multiple times in the cartoon, I'm a little surprised they didn't go with another cassetticon since Ravage was packaged with the Reissued Soundwave.
I personally would've loved a Frenzy, or even a Ratbat.

Ain't that the truth? The only real complaint people make about Soundwave is that no one uses tapes anymore, so he's somehow unrealistic. Lame. Soundwave is about the best around.

Everyone always overlooks the backwards knees!?!
And on the topic of SoundWave does anyone else remember seeing other barrel drones for the Cybertron version?
One turnes into a car, another a plane, I forget the third. I only saw them once, but always wondered what ever happened to them.

From the looks of Ravage at the con, he looks far superior to the original. I know G1 had good articulation, but this looks better and he doesn't look so thin. So yeah, they looked to have improved on an otherwise good figure. I didn't catch that he'll have weapons, but then again, it was kinda not paying attention when the question/comment was said.

Actually that was me who asked that question. Hasbro said that he wasn't coming with weapons.

Wow. Really? Are they just going by their attempts? Universe, Cybertron and Titanium? Because Takara did it already with Music Label. And it plays music. It's like the beuatiful love child of G1 and the working cassette player one from 1985. The only real problem I have with it is the interchangable hands and the fact that the "holding" hand doesn't fit inside when transformed. Does it fit cassettes? No, but what today is designed to fit a cassette?

Actually, it does. At least, I seem to have gotten it to. I was pretty miffed at the idea of it not fitting, until I tried it, and it did. Maybe it's not 100% flush like the closed fist or something, but it works pretty well.

yes, the reissue/classics soundwave is in fact a rapaint of soundblaster and has the double fit chest!

I bet this is a new Ravage that is thicker to fit in the double "deep" chest...
At least that's what it sounds like.

You know what, let me tell you something!!!
My Father was a carpenter, who made quality furniture! He spent his life trying to figure out how to make a comfortable chair for you people and nothing ever worked. It devoured his spirit and sent him to the poor house a very broken man

All I can say is I'm happy you people kick yourselves where it counts every time you run!

Actually, you could fix the knee joints so that they bend back, change the hip joints so that when they get a little loose you don't have to pose him like Jose Delbo, add some light piping to the head, add some rotation to the arms to allow them to swivel, and add neck articulation.
That's just a small list, but you get the idea.

Pshhh...
Hasbro messed that one up, real good.
Blaster should've been given love, but instead,
he's a weak-ass repaint.
