Did this Optimus see a US release that I missed? I know there was the Sam's Club 3-pack, and robovision, but where/when was this if ever?: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/prod ... ode=retail

That's because he is new, part of the new Premium Line. along with all the Premium Deluxes, Deep Space Starscream, and Premium Line Leader Prime with energon Blade.
Its the roundup editions for the movie line. Better paint apps, and all spark blue tossed around for some of them.

Re: BD Prime Question
Cool, wonder if it is gonna be mass released, or exclusive, cause it just struck me as strange that there is only one of them (that I have seen) that is yet to come out in the Best Buy style packaging like the Megs and Ratchet. Only real reason I would consider it is the (sadly) the packaging.

Re: BD Prime Question
I'm glad I'm pat the "Shiney New Wraper" stage in collecting.
For Voyager Movie Prime, I have 2 of the RoboVision versions. After that, I realy don't care how many versions they reissue, I have 1 open, and 1 sealed, good enough for me when coupled with Protoform, Leader and FAB, and NightWatch...
I got 6 of this movie guy!!!
I can see if Hasbro would take a page from Bandie and retool their battle damaged figures, but a left over box and a crappy paint ap aren't gonna get my dollar over and over again.
