can anyone tell me how they match up to the original toys, as in like, feel and size? im sure someone here can help me! :grin:

I have a couple and as far as I can tell they are identical to G1 toys.

Fairly robust too, I use one on my keychain. If you wanted you could snip the hoop for the chain off and treat them as the real thing.

The plastic isn't quite the same quality as the originals, but it's not that far off, certainly not knock off bad. Aside from the addition of the loops for the keyrings the only other change that I am aware of is with the tyres. The ones on the keyrings are plain and I seem to remember the ones on the original Minibots being stamped "DUNLOP".

same here! I have keychains G1 CLIFFJUMPER, WINDCHARGER and BRAWN. They're really hot! :APPLAUSE:

I personally love 'em. If you don't want to buy vintage, or can't, go for it. They don't have the same overall "feel" to the originals, but you'd almost be fooled.

I've never owned an original G1 minibot, so teh little Windcharger I got recently is super cool! Gotta go get the others they had.

They are super close to the actual figures. However, a friend of mine has a Windcharger keychain that keeps on wanting to transform. We always make fun of it when it does that.

I have the Bumblebee & Brawn keychains. Brawn is fine, is just that Bumblebee sometimes falls over in robot mode from the chain & hook. So I display him in vehicle mode instead. Still, they're good if you don't wanna shell out a significant amount of $$$ for the originals.

Does anyone know where these are still being sold? I've got an old G2 Bumblebee (the one with the nice shiny gold plating) that's missing the head (one of the hinges broke off) - I could have sworn that one point I had an original G1 bumblebee that had the same problem (but I dunno what happened to it, if my parents returned it to the store or its still around somewhere) but mostly I want it for the head and the plastic part that sorta acts as the peg hole.

Cuz eBay is just waaaay overpriced for something I'm sure only sold for like what? 3-5 bucks?
