As previously reported here, Seibertron.com informant Victor Hernandez gave us our first look at a special cross promotion being done by Cartoon Network Mexico.

McDonald's Restaraunts in the southern country will be including special Transformers Animated figures that differ from the toys previously released in the U.S. Below is a still shot of the website featuring the figures.

These figures appear to be non transformable but may carry other features such as light up lights. A commercial promoting the figures can be found here preceeding a Power Puff Girls video at the Cartoon Network Mexico website.

From what I understand, these are actually all just repaints of The Micky D's Energon Prime that were left over from 1973 or something.

So, why do they look like sumo wrestlers? They all seem to have a hole in their leg and a trigger-type thingon their chest... I looks like they could do the Jumpstarter thing, but I can't see their vehicle modes even looking like vehicles if they go that route. Why did they bother making new molds at all, honestly?

I think it's interesting the way some versions of Animated Starscream interpret the design like he's wearing a tie and a blazer.

Kinda makes want to get a specially tailored Starscream business suit made up some time.

I find these toys to be quite awesome and funny lookin'.
