What a horrible cheat of a toy. He folds in half and wears his cape as the trailer?

That makes Beast/Machine Wars Basics look like well crafted works of art. And those were so simple, a caveman could do it. </Geico'd>

I thought along the same lines (not clever enough to think of Geico though :grin:

) but figured this HAS to be geared towards young kids, with the hard core collectors buying anyway.

I absolutely love to see when my not even two year old son "transforms" his lil set of TF's.

Thats absolutly aweful, it's only redeemign quality is that it makes the piss poor designs of the Hasbro Crossover lines look epicly brilliant in comparison.

I've grown up with Mickey Mouse and Transformers, the two combined together seems to be a pretty neat idea, something like this should grab attention for the younger kids, plus there are those out there who collects variations of a certain brand. I wouldn't mind myself to own one of these. My mom would approve of this since it's a transformer disguised as Mickey Mouse, but begs the question, what would the toy be called? Optimus Mouse, or Mickey Prime :?:

Well, as it's Japanese, in all likly hood it will be called Micky Convoy or Mouse Convoy or even (god forbid) Mickey Mouse Convoy.

Point being, I thin this thig is such a freaking abomination, that it is cool. Maybe I'll buy it and start a freakshow shelf. Then all the other TFs can pay $1 to visit the shelf and point/laugh at Mickey Convoy.

Well, for one...they need to make it a TF tie in. Nike Label Convoy didn't look an awful lot like his G1 (or any series for that matter) counterpart, but he did have the trademark head/face, and the red/blue color scheme. This has the vehicle mode of Optimus Prime (and will have the same coloring).

Two, his hands are the trucks smokestacks.

That's why the cab is needed, to sell the whole picture.

I just thought the trasformation is too simplistic. Not "worth" the Transformers tag.

But i guess this is for toddlers. So they have to be built that way.
