I've just finished repainting Movie Leader Class Megatron. I did a dark grey undercoat (still visible on the wings in robot mode) then did three layers of drybrushing. Some of the overlapping plates in the torso and shoulders are painted in different shades of metallic grey to give the figure more depth using different mixes of Games Workshop Chaos Black and Boltgun Grey. Some details are highlight using Humbrol Gold with a black drybrush over the top to darken it.

awesome.. i know its not the first Megatron repaint ive ever seen.. but its certainly one of the better/best ones.. well done there sir..

Nomatter how many times i see a 07 meggy repaint, Im always impressed.. That figure was meant to be repainted and you did a great job. I like the4 usbtle drybrushing along the nose cone and th nice gold highlights you added.. I never noticed it until I was watching the movie last night that his whole chest under the armor is gold.. It looked tacky IMO, a little bit of gold here and there goes a long way with this fella .. Nice one MyK!
