Its the problem with a semi rushed figure. I'll get him maybe in a few years, when there's been time to iron out the bugs and such
You are assuming that they will still be in production! As far as I know there will be 2nd production run soon and then thats it!
There'll always be more MP megatrons in the world. I just feel the figure is somehwat rushed, thats why there's so many problems with him
There may still be some around but they will simply be unsold stock and highly priced. Look at Ultra Magnus, you dont think they are still in production do you? If they were I would order a bunch and stick them on my store.

Exactly my point. If you leave it too long you will have to pay inflated prices.

Indeed. That's what's screwing me over - I want both MP Magnus and MP Brave Exkaiser - but they're either too few and far between or bloody expensive.
Do you know a fellow fan that lives nearby? To be honest, seeing the figure first hand will change your opinion of getting him.

I wish I'd known Magnus was so valuable last year, there were a few at my local Target going for $90au... and I only got one. Blast! On topic, the only problem I have with Megs is a small lack of stability in his cannon arm, and his legs try to do the splits on smooth surfaces. Oh, and the gun bits on ball joints come off whenever I transform him. Other than that he rocks.

Dave Willis who does Shortpacked says the only thing thay annoys him about MP Megs is the kibble popping off anf the fact it takes about an hour to transfoerm

I agree. The pictures of MP Magnus don't do him justice. He is more impressive in person.

I'm not too keen on the influx of naked Magnus toys we've seen recently. It gets annoying with all the Prime repaints...whats next? movie magnus with white prime repaints?

See, I quite like tha fact that he takes an hour to transform. The work that has gone into it is incredible and you have to experience it to appreciate it.
Kibble popping off is annoying but better that than snapping off.

How often do people handle/transform MPs anyway?
The intricate transformation is what makes this figure, imo.

thats where I'm a different collector. I don't wanna be sat with a transformer that feels more like a Rubik's Cube than a Transformer

Doesn't this hour to transform Megatron stem back to the first transformation?
Sure, I take my time as I find it enjoyable, but it's not exactly a case of wearing cotton gloves, using tweezers and a magnifying glass to tranform this figure.
E. Unicron - read a series of reviews and then decide. That's what I do when I'm sitting on the bench.

True that. The FIRST transformation took me 45 min. The second time was much less, like 10-15.

OMG you too? I think MP-05 will be my last Transformer to be honest. Spending $100 on something that breaks on the first transformation does not equal good quality to me.

That piece has not broken on mine, but I feel your pain all the same. Another reason why the black handle should have been die-cast.

Especially the weak small plastic clips in the thighs ,and the small clips that hold the trigger above in robot mode. One of the four small clips above the trigger broke while transforming him to p-38. Any tips what glue to use to glue it with that doesn't leave a mess ,and holds it extra strong? I heard JBweld is good. If so which version should I use and what hardware store can I get it? Can I find it at home depot?

If you don't want to snap a small peg off ,and want to save yourself from the pain and dissapointment. I'm for sure not transforming him anymore. Don't want to risk anymore damage to it. It's the sixth time I have transformed him and the last.
