Here is an interesting item for the fans of the Transformers Robot Heroes line. Marcelo Matere has updated his Deviant Art page with concept sketches he made for the Robot Heroes figures based on the characters from the blockbuster Transformers Movie.
The drawings feature all the first wave characters: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Jazz, Bumblebee, Barricade, Frenzy, Ratchet and Blackout. Take an interesting behind-the-scenes look at the Robot Heroes design process by seeing Marcelo Matere's sketches here.

Yeah, they look better than the real toys because drawings don't have to be simplified to be molded...
I'd like to see him do some of the G1 characters that haven't been released...
Namely, the Constructicons, Dinobots, Sideswipe, and even Omega Supreme and Devastator.

Those look more like package art than concept sketches.

I saw these guys in package tonight and this is not the package art like I suspected. What's shown here is too complete to be "sketches" though. I'm curious what the purpose of it is.

somewhat dissapointed by this i like the whole robot heroes series but they left a few out ironhide, scorponock, starscream and maybe one or 2 more

They'll most likely put a few more out for the movie. It seems like they're staggering releases and throwing in the different continuities. I wouldn't be surprised to see a break from movie ones for a series or two and then a return. Just my educated guess though.
