Time to Transform Your Summer, Pepsi Promotion goes Live!

Previously reported on Seibertron.com, the Pepsi Company is doing a promotion with The Transformers Movie.
Now, all the details regarding this promotion have been revealed, including the Rules and Prizes which also happen to list a "Pepsi Optimus Prime TRANSFORMERS Collectible".
The site lists the collectible as being worth $29.99, so there is probably a better chance that it will be a repaint of Voyager Movie Prime than the previously released Pepsi Prime. We will update what this "Collectible" is as soon as we find out here at Seibertron.com
To be reminded when the game actually starts, submit your e-mail on this page.

And once again, everyone outside the USA is shafted by their eligibility laws.
And I was kind of excited about that version of Prime in Pepsi colours.

Considering the new Pepsi Prime is limited to 100 units according to the site, I don't think your chances would have been that hot anyway.
EDIT: Oh, 100 units PER DAY. That improves the chances a bit, but if you consider the number of units they shift in a day it's still not great odds. Still, mid-May to early August? That's, what, 80 days or so? Call it 8000 units, just under the normal run for the Takara book-style reissues. I'm sure there will be several available on eBay for reasonable prices after the initial excitement.

$29.99 for Pepsi Prime eh? Sucks for all those people who spent double that.

Of course, the "Optimus Prime Collectible" could be a repainted voice changer helmet for all we know

Hasbro UK really seem to be getting their teeth into the preparation for the movie release. It may not be so unlikely that we see the promotion over here.
Fingers crossed...

Well, the Takara Pepsi Prime had a trailer modified to hall a 20 oz, or a couple cans.
Maybe they can do the same for a movie version of Prime.

I hope its a Pepsi version of one of the movie Prime toys, and not the reissue from Japan a few years ago. It would just be more unique (plus I already have the reissue).

I don't drink soda, and I'm not going to start to get a prize seeming as that I never got anything good off a bottle top before.
Still, I look forward to seeing what it looks like.
However, whatever it is will be something that will sell for money later. A limited prize custom paint Prime will go for some loot. Even a bunch of surplus Primes stamped with a number will go for some dough at some point.
So we wait and see now...
