All Hail Megatron: Exclusive Cover and More

Postby i_amtrunks » Thu Mar 12, 2009 4:35 pm

When the All Hail Megatron series began, IDW's newest Artist Casey Coller provided a beautiful homage Exclusive cover for Apocalypse Comics in the UK.

You may remember it, it did after all give tribute to Batman's: The Killing Joke.

So what better way to end the series, than with yet another tribute cover due for Apocalypse Comics?

IDW's Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall has updated his blog RyallTime with Casey's Transformers styled tribute to John Romita's "Amazing Spiderman #50".

Check out the tribute below, or you can check out Ryall's full blog update by clicking here.

In other news, All Hail Megatron writer Shane MacCarthy has updated his blog SMaCTALK with a teaser tidbit concerning All Hail megatron #8, which was released this week:

After deciding on the traitor at the beginning of the series it’s been hard keeping him ‘hidden’ but also allowing him enough screen time to make the ramifications felt for new readers unfamiliar with the previous continuity.

Whether you guessed it or not I expect the final page will come as a shock.

So what’s the verdict? Is our traitor redeemable?

And in a final All Hail Megatron tidbit, for those Transformers fans based in Perth Western Australia, don't forget there is a book signing this Saturday the 14th March at ComicZone form Midday.

Interesting but is it wise to homage rival companies' comics?

Also, I thought this series was a 12 parter not 8?

Great issue. Really crazy. Much better with the 12-issue format, as opposed to a 5-or 6 issue format. Great stuff this time around.

Issue 8 just came out - but this exclusive cover is for Issue 12.

I've been worried the whole series for Megatron, now, this? Glad to read the bit at the end of the blog though, that this cover is not necessarily representative of what will happen in the end of the series.
In a place such as this, you are the perfect prey for a brest animal!

haah i really like the cover kinda funny everyone complained about how todd macfarland did his spawn comic covers that they looked looked like some spiderman covers but no one is complaing about cimcs doing the same thing ironic.

like the cover but the lettering loks very 90's this series reminds of the marvel series what if storys in the marvel univese.

so this series is finally coming to end.? il ike it i ddint want to have to buy tpbs volumes 2& 3 now i may just have to buy volume 2 and may not be a volujem 3
