I have never heard of this store. I'm going to look into it. I was hoping for it to hit Target, myself.

Just picked up the set. What cheap junk, a new low for Hasbro. Poorly painted, coloring looks horrid. The "shield" symbols on my 2 don't even work. The Matrix is metal & fairly weighted. Would've bought it on clearance if I would've known it was this bad.

Since the FP Protector will be here after Chrismas, i need to pick one of these up, one for Hot Rod and the other for Rodimus Prime! I'm hearing Cyclonus is pretty dead on with G1 cartoon colors as well, but i have the hasbro and takara version, so one more wont hurt!

S*************t!!!!!!!!!!!!! Meijer? It's a Meijer exclusive? My nearest Meijer has to be at least three hours away. Guess I'll have to pay over retail online.

It's not Meijer exclusive, it's general release, Meijer just put it out in stores first.

Re: Reveal the Shield Battle In Space Set Found at US Retail
Meijer is specifically like a Super-Walmart in that they always have a full grocery store. I saw Battle in Space in that same Canton one yesterday too, but I won't have the cash or gift card to spare 'till the 26th. The chain started out in Michigan, and has spread as far as Illinois, but I'm not sure of their total radius.
I'm not trying to "rub it in" since I doubt the 2-pack is a Meijer exclusive...but you know what actually appears to be? PCC 2-packs WAVE 2! Those are the only stores where I've ever seen Sledge, Icepick, and the greatest figure of the entire line, Leadfoot, and every Meijers from Wixom to Livonia just put more cases of 'em out in time for the holidays! And they've got the HFTD scouts on sale for $5.00 through the end of today.
Oh, and they had those supposedly Japan-exclusive Magnus, Galvatron, and Superion watches back in the days of G2, as they've sometimes imported Japan-market products like DBGT and Bakugan figures at inflated prices.
THAT's rubbing it in. Merry Christmas!
As for the Rodimus paint-chipping problem, think a few sprays of clear sealer might hold it on? That's what I intend to do to all of my Transmetals someday.

Oh. Good. I assumed it was a store exclusive since tfwiki.net and many on this site referred to it as one, but with an unconfirmed carrier.

I will start hitting Targets after Christmas for this.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I got mine online through amazon. It's nice to have a in scale matrix for my classics line, but I did wish it came with the chain that the original release had. I like this version of Cyclonus a lot better than the Universe one, so RTS is now my official Cyclonus, and the Universe one is Armada. I like the new paint job on Rodimus, which is great cause my Universe/classic one is now the Protector armor all the time.
However, the real news is this: I think there is a new Warpath toy coming.
There were a lot characters shown in the comic. Not only did we see Cyclonus and Hot Rod, but we saw a lot of new characters that are hitting retail now, or soon will be. I counted Jazz, Tracks, Blurr, Cyclonus, and Hot Rod as characters that are out now. In the coming soon category I have Grapple, Lugnut, Scrouge, Kup, Bumblebee, Rumble, Frenzy, and Preceptor, all of whom where shown in their new toy form. While there were a number of characters that don't have new toys coming, there were shown in their original tv show bodies, except Warpath.
This Warpath had additional blasters coming out from behind its head and had details that weren't consistent with the original toy, the show model, or the legends toys that was released a a few years ago.

Re: Reveal the Shield Battle In Space Set Found at US Retail
Found my set last nite at Meijer's in Highland, IN.
After coming home I opened it.
Judgement? It's a cheap way to get a new Cyclonus, my RTS stickers did not work either and the paint apps on Hot Rod are well, not the best whatsoever. He even has a stress line on his shoulder from the socket and he is brand new, I didn't remove either from the plastic.
So what one of the above posters said is true, and no chain on the matrix let's it have extra handles for no reason.
I was disappointed by it honestly. Without Cyclonus in there since I don't have him otherwise I would rate it a pass.
U also get your comic beat up and crinkled.......
Was alot more excited to get the set then I was when I actually opened it.

1 ) My comic was actually nicely flat and no marks.
2 ) While the SCHEME on Rodimus ain't the best, there were no significant paint issues on mine.
3 ) Cyclonus' new color scheme rawks.
4 ) I knew there was a Matrix in the set. I really did. But for some reason it completely missed my attention that it would be die-cast! I was expecting plastic, like the one from Cyb/GF Prime!

I'm not sure if I will like this set or not based on all the mixed reviews, but for $20 it's definitely worth a go.

The set I picked up has great paint apps and the figures have nice tight joints. I did have 3 different sets at the store to compare. there was one that Rodimus was really poopy. I think you just have to look really closely and hope you have some to compare to.
