Finally, Armorhide, or Ironhide in the US, released late in the Japanese Animated line, where Takara Tomy evidently ran low of shiny paint:

Love the look of Prime and Ironhide. Those tones look really good on them. Not-Goldbug whoever is most definitely NOT Goldbug. Sparkly straight yellow is just...eeewwww. They would have been better off going with the deeper tones of the New Classics 'Bee.

BB looks better in person. It's a richer, less gaudy gold.

Like everyone else is saying, Prime and Ironhide look magnificent, but bumblebee not so much. The glossy red on Prime looks like the glossy purple on Botcon 2011 Motormaster, so with the events of the new Takara Animated Prime it gets me looking forward to Botcon Animated Motormaster. Weird.

The metallic paintjobs actually make animated look cool. Im glad I bought the jade green Bulkhead at Botcon last year. Im still debating whether to open him or not.
