Takara has announced a third MechTech weapon campaign. Starting October 1st Japanese fans who spend 3000 yen on Transformers DSM products at select retailers can received the following exclusive Dark Side MechTech weapons:

Plasma Blaster: Toys"R"Us
Triple Wrecking Claw: Bic Camera
Diagonal Tri Ray Sword: Yodobashi Camera

Yeah sorry, never was in love with the mech-tech weapons. This holds no interest to me.

I'm starting to change my mind about Mechtech. Sure, the weapons are way too big for the toys, but they'e kinda cool. Hasbro needs to do cool promotions like Takara does.

I can't wait to see how much BBTS scalps these for! Con artists.

"Psyllium triple wreaking claw"? "diagonal tri Psyllium ray sword"? Psyllium? Are these weapons designed to fight against the evil forces of constipation and irregularity? I suppose next they'll produce the "Ex-Lax Battle Axe" or the "Senna Smooth Move Sword".

Actually, it's Tripsyllium for all three, not just Psyllium which is a genus of plant. Not that it makes more or less sense. 8-}

Well, the first live action movie established that Transformers have the ability to eliminate bodily waste as per Bumblebee vs Agent Simmons. I suppose these fearsome weapons are suppose to cause enemies to soil themselves in terror?

at first i was like meh i don't care bout mech-tech.but after buying more and more of the DOTM line i started gettin into em.i really want more figures simply for the mech-techs.but the price of these(importing) just can't get me to make a purchase.come on hasbro get with it already.i would buy doubles just for the promo mech-techs.

so i'm guessin that fireburst optimus is the takara version because mine as well as the gallery here on seibertron has painted blue eyes.damnit!!! :sad:
