I don't think kids would be asking that. They should just think of it as his name. That's what I did with everything I've ever watched. I never asked, "what does hulk mean?" or anything like that

That is a good point. I just don't like that they changed his name. That's like calling Spiderman, Arachnidman afterwards. It's just weird.

Neither of which were the G1 Dinobots, which is what I believe was being originally referenced.

Then again this is a brand new continuity. The potential is there for them to combine. Doubtful, but it could happen.

Except that Shockwave had already built both Bruticus Maximus and the Devastators before he had gotten his hands on the LSC/Dinobots. Bruticus was the combiner prototype.

duhr forgot about that one... still it would be nice if it was the first combiner and everyone was like "err lets not use that again...."

Yeah the Dinobots will most likely not combine. But hopefully Superion will be in it seeming how Brawl and Onslaught (not in the story mode but you know) were in the first game and Silverbolt and Airraid too. Bruticus vs. Superion would be sweet

No way. If the awesomeness of Devastator from ROTF killed a computer, then a fight between Superion and Bruticus in an already seemingly-awesomer-by-the-day game would just completely fry your mind.
