There is. This has been confirmed by store listings from several months ago as well as Kingdom promotional artwork and some “character bios” for the exclusive box sets. Inferno might be released again in Kingdom if it does expand to fit in a fifth wave like Siege, as rumors are hinting. Or, Inferno might get slotted into a “revision wave” in the future. E.g., Starscream could be swapped out for Inferno in latter shipments of wave 4.

PvP has a video for Tracks. The transformation looks less fiddly than the MP, but not by much. The clear plastic backpack also has me a little worried, but my ER Datsuns have been solid, so not too worried.

Re: TR deluxe wave 5 (Misfire, Twin Twist, Windblade). I still to this day don't know what happened. I remember seeing pre-order placeholders (meaning they had the pics saying "coming soon" but you couldn't actually order them), on TRU site and the old Hasbrotoyshop, then all of a sudden they just went away. Must have been a distribution issue. They never appeared in most stores, and ended up at a discount chain, only in the Eastern U.S. for dirt cheap prices and a scalpers paradise. Things are *slightly better* now in that, fans have expressed their frustration with distribution. One point I can say in Hasbro's favor was in 2018 when PotP deluxe wave 2 fell way short of demand, Hasbro actually did good by doing another run and getting more of them out there. Also they seem to be reissuing a LOT of the popular toys of the past couple of years such as the Titans, and CC Jetfire.

But unfortunately we can't win them all. TR wave 5 was a wave that initially had nothing I wanted. Later I did want to get Twintwist, and was fortunate to get a TT Legends Version on eBay for an insanely reasonable price. I expected it to either be the Hasbro version listed incorrectly, or some sort of knockoff, or have some defect, since they can easily go for $100+ now, but no, it was completely legit, and MISB.

That's right, Starscream is mentioned in the Battle Across Time descriptions. Huh, wonder what is going to differentiate him from the ER release.

In Kingdoms case, the same thing that differentiates Leader Class Optimus Prime, Deluxe Class Arcee and Wheeljack aka absolutely nothing. It's going to be the Earthrise release in Kingdom box. The SS86 release on the other hand will be sold at Leader Class price point.

I actually feel sorry for whoever had to draw completely new artwork for Kingdom Leader Optimus Prime. I mean it looks amazing, but for something most people already got in ER..., and obviously very little take notice of . Arcee and Wheeljack appear to just have had the same art ported over (and resized) with the Kingdom background, I could be in error though.

I don't mind the re-releases at all. ER Optimus was pretty damn hard to find so people get a second chance. As for Arcee, appart my local geek store, the ER was either never stocked, or it sold out quickly. Finally for Wheeljack, don't even count the Netflix one. Those damn things are distributed willy-nally so that a "why not" for this one.

TLDr I'm all for re-releases. Especially for figures of the last waves of a series that retailers often skip.

I'm for re-releases also, but it should be characters that had a low production run. ER Astrotrain was a great example, as the Siege one never was stocked at any store around me. Inferno would be a good candidate for a 2022 re-release assuming there is no Kingdom wave 5,(I know it's been rumored..) or no wave re-packs as Wolfman mentioned.

Sunstreaker was more deserving of a reissue (especially with ER Sideswipe being moved to Kingdom).

However, the TR Jets are supposedly the next TR molds up for reissue in the Retro Headmasters line. I don't think rumours stated whether they'll have Siege or Legends Targetmasters, but I suspect it's the Siege ones.

Wow... I never saw one ER Prime, and saw multiple in Kingdom packaging the first week I saw any Kingdom figures at Target. Although other than seeing Megatron once, he's been the only leader class from Kingdom I've seen. Ever. And it was back during that first week (that second week there was still one left; back when they had a combo of TF figures on an endcap).
There have been 4 Kingdom Arcee's at the Target by me for over a month now.

What I hope is that Hastak has heard how many of us had trouble finding ER waves 2 & 3, and considers re-releasing multiples of those figures.
I had to look it up, but I figured out that I only ever saw Smokescreen (at an Aldi of all places) out of all of wave 2 and wave 3. And that was for all classes.
Call it bad luck, scalper city, or whatever, but bottom line is that's pretty ridiculous.
I was checking stores 2-3 times a week (both Target and Walmart).

I know Starscream is really popular... But man, I won't be surprised at all if this Kingdom release ends up being a shelf warmer. It really is too bad that Hastak could've have re-released Thrust, even if it was just at Target again.

Yup... Agreed.
One of many I never saw. I get it, online retailers probably had plenty.
But he was one I was on the fence about, especially with the yellows looking so off in photos and in video reviews. Had I seen him in-person, I'm pretty sure I would've bought him.
Same goes for Trailbreaker, possibly the Allicon, and to a lesser extent, Runamuck.

The ER fiasco has taught me a lesson; if I see any figure I even think I remotely want, I buy it.
And for how often we go to stores, making a return is hardly an inconvenience.

Out of curiosity, where did you hear that?

Post I saw on Reddit way back when the figures were first announced. Not anything concrete but the choices of the first two waves lead me to believe them.

Not a credible rumour. Right now, the Walmart exclusives for reissues are based on beaat wars. None of the credible leakers have stated the TR jets being reissued.

I think Wreck-Gar said it like, a month and a half back. I'm probably crossing wires, but I think the exact details involved the Jets being next in line for reissues if the current plans sell well.

Like I said, this is something I'm probably misremembering.
