So I finally got my grips on an Arcee figure at my local TRU (keep hunting all) and though I had full intentions on buying I was still not too thrilled at the type of weapons Hasbro chose to give the long awaited fem Autobot. Since I saw the first images I couldn't get over the lame choice and looks her so called blades give. I know I sound crazy but ehh what do I know right?

Anyway I'm curious if any of you Seibertronian's have given your Arcee a weapon substitute? I can't remember now but somewhere I saw Arcee fitted with G1 Prime's pistola either here or else where. If anyone can refresh my memory please do. And what other TF figures that got a weapons up grade? Weather because the weapon it had just wasn't enough (Arcee) or perhaps it didn't even come with a weapon (sad to say) I'd like to know also. Example, Universe King Atlas didn't even have a gun (poor bastard) besides his bombs so by chance I had a long time extra gun for Devasator and it fits him like a glove. I have yet to paint it but it's perfect none the less. So what say you?

I can't comment on Arcee as she hasn't (and probably never will) show up in the UK stores and I probably won't buy her anyway.

Other upgrades:
Movie Blackout because he didn't come with guns. I spent ages searching ebay for suitable guns that resembled what he has in the film.

Sidewaysbecause he didn't have any weapons.

Classics CJ often uses 2-pack Megatron's gun cos he doesn't need an arm cannon and handheld gun.

I think that's all I've done.

My Classics CJ has a KO G1 Silverbolt's gun with the wings clipped off, and my Universe Blades is using Universe Powrglide's gun (my Universe Powerglide died a painful death by 2 year old.) A few other TF's have various random guns I have found, and Classics Prime, Nemmy Prime and Henkei Megatron all have laser swords from the Alternators upgrade set a few years back (blue, red and purple,respectively)

I don't have a TFA Arcee yet, though I know I'm getting one as a b-day gift(which isn't until mid July). I have an FP defender though and have been considering somehow recasting those as a standard handgun type, since they fit in the standard 5mm fist holes. As for other figures, I just use whatever weapons I have leftover from some of my old junk action figures.

Hey Legend I like that suggestion, now I gotta go to work on that. And you have a great idea Shadowstream. Maybe you can let us know how that pans out?
