I've always voiced my two cents (with no sense) on how a bot is only as good as the weapon it's packing. And these days Hasbro has had a long track history of giving awesome TF real sh***y weapons. So after some tinkering I have come across an idea for 2 favored TF. I'm talking about Animated Arcee and Gen. Drift. Now I've heard the mixed comments from the masses about Drift's long sword and all seem to agree that it being so soft and flimsy really does blow. The really cool detail it has just isn't enough to save it from going limp if you leave it in a bad position or left about wrong it can bend quite nicely. His other 2 blades are OK but considering his scale just don't seem right for him. And Arcee well her crappy blades were just plain crappy!

I have yet to find a decent pistola for Arcee but she is at least armed finally thanks to Drift's dual blades. Go on all and give it a try, you might dig it. Now they slip on nice and easy and are loose at first but if you turn them slightly they hold well enough especially for those of you that dig awesome poses and stances. So without the long details I have an extra Starsaber sword from a Kicker figure I had and it is perfect for our bot Drift. It also requires a slight tweek when you insert it but it holds quite nicely AND with both hands for those killer wielding poses....IMHO. Sorry for not having any pics to offer. I am looking on a camera sometime soon so if anyone tries this suggestion and has a camera show them off if you will. And any other ideas like this anyone has I would like to hear from you all.

Oh and I did actually get use out of Drift's awesome looking sword. It fits nicely in the grip of Energon Wing Saber. I had him out by chance and during this ordeal I tried it and it worked So peoples let me know what you think, if it's good for you great if it sux then I won't try getting a job as a consultant of any kind. And after reading in another post I too may consider buying Gen. Blurr just for his nice arsenal alone. I'm not at all thrilled with this Blurr and Drift and Arcee can't live by blades alone....'nuff said

ive tried a lot of guns for arcee. ive used a pair of guns from an old micromaster set i used to have, energon arcee's guns, classics starscream's null rays, and now im using a gun from a "Dirty Pair" Yuri figure i have. when Blurr comes out ill probably let him hold his sniper rifle and give his pistols to Arcee.
