What Is Wrong With My PS3?

For some reason, my PS3 has een acting all wonky for a week now. When I watch dvd's or netflix, it periodicly goes to silent static (no sound, and static images like when you couldn't get a signal on the old "rabbit ears). This usualy happens when I'm watching dvds, or on netflix, or the Playstation store. When I play games, I can (and have) played for hours with no problem. Anyone else have this problem?
