Doing my regular Waspinator trawl on ebay and came across this fella: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Transformers-G1-B ... 3362236931

anyone know what line this is from? It looks like a tie-in line like a Macdonald's thing or soemthig, but it's also quite a pretty figure. Anyone recognise it?

That's Transmetal Waspinator, the Fox Kids redeco to be exact. There were Transmetal versions of basically the entire original cast, except for Tigatron and Scorponok, but as you probably know, not all appeared in the show. A good thing to know is that Transmetal Inferno was renamed Scavenger. The Fox Kids redecos are called that because they were part of a promotion of Beast Wars being reaired on Fox Kids.

It's a repaint of the Beast Wars Transmetal Waspinator, one of the "Fox Kids" repaints.

looks to be missing some parts too. Mya have been put out as Buzzsaw, I'm not sure.

Cool, thanks for that! The Transmetal Waspinator is one of the ones I'm trying to get my hands on, but I didn't recognise the sculpt here at all - I guess Guyincognito and Valandar are right- it's a little out of shape!

I really want one, the jet mode just rocks! Easily the best of the vehicle modes next to Rampage's.

Mine did the same thing. Luckily it did it in a place where it could be easily glued and it still transforms with no problem, just gotta be a little careful.

But agreed, it's a very good figure.
