I am sure this has been asked a million times before.
But I stumbled across this site today and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I have an original first release Megatron that I got when I was like 12 years old.

It was played with "very little."

It has been stored in the box for approx the last 22+ years.
I know the box shows it's age, I haven't pulled it out for awhile, the cardboard is a little warped etc.

Decals were never applied, no parts are broken or missing, heck last time I looked the original little scanner piece was still in the box lol.
No wear at all, no damage, no cracks or breaks and everything is still sitting in the styrofoam the way it came from the factory oh so many years ago.

I am just curious what it's value would be "round about," I don't expect an exact without pics etc, I was just wondering what this forum might think.

I'd say anywhere between $200-$350, depending largely on the condition of the box and how it was opened.

Megatron has been reissued numerous times, so the appeal of the figure is kind of low to a collector who is interested in a pristine toy. What you really have is a Megatron box that people will care about.

There's no "Kelly Blue Book" for TFs, so it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Find some similar auctions on eBay and watch them to see how much they go for.

id have to agree with that i sold mine about two years ago for 475 but he was one of two i had and he was kept mint in bubble wrap and brown box. also i sold around the time the first movie came out so people were snatching up anything g1 they could find.
