well as in the title when does rts lugnut go retail

I would suspect that he's already on sale in some parts however when he gets to stores is dependant on when the store clears out their existing stock. So if your store has shelves full of Primes, seasprays or other voyagers, try hiding them or buying them to encourage them to get new stock.

It's already in retail in select parts of the world. Keep searching your local stores to see if it comes near you.

by the way i did see one in the torrance walgreens 90746 but they were selling it for 40 bucks

I hope to be able to find him. I've seen Highbrow only once at a walmart. I've seen universe Inferno only once at retail back when it was release. I was lucky to be able to snag them both when I saw them and it's good because I never saw them again. I hope to be able to find both Lugnut and Grapple and I will snag them both for fear I will never see them again.

had the sam fear about highbrow when i saw him so i got him and 2 days later got the fallen(hftd).

when lugnut comes out do you think he will be impossible to find because i dont want to pay $50 for a voyager class figure online.

if any one finds two lugnut figures pm me i might want one if idon't find one soon.

I've got a Transformers United Lugnut MISB which I'm going to sell on Ebay if anyone's interested.

I bought him from Toys R'Us Japan (where I live) without realizing that he's a Transformers Animated character.
He's a great looking figure but I don't buy Animated figures/characters as a collection rule so I didn't even take Lugnut out of the box before deciding to sell him.

It's the Japanese version of Reveal The Shield which is Transformers United (which just means he has a much better paint job).
I had to pay $40 for him so that's what I would ask (if it sounds a lot then please remember the current low Dollar and super high Japanese yen).

That edition of Lugnut is not an Animated figure, though. The character originated with Transformers Animated, but Lugnut has been retroactively added to the G1 cannon via the comic book that comes with the "Battle in Space" Reveal the Shield gift set. It places Lugnut among the Decepticons beseiging Autobot City in the 1986 Transformers movie.

He is and always will be an Animated character though. Adding him to one comic doesn't change that.

He wasn't and isn't in the original G1 storylines and has simply been transferred into United/RTS for the sake of his figure.

But that's the beauty of retroactive continuity. Lugnut started in one continuity, but now he's part of more. FYI, Lugnut is also in Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron. Which, along with Transformers: War for Cybertron, represents what Hasbro wants to be the official history of the Transformers moving forward. The situation is really no different than Drift showing up as a neo-G1 character in the Generations line, so if you want your neo-G1 collection to be complete, like it or not, the Lugnut RTS/United figure is now a part of that.

Well it's nice for some people if they're happy for lots of non-original G1 characters to be added retrospectively but as he wasn't around in G1 he's never going to be qualified as a G1 character in my eyes and I'm certainly not alone in that respect as other people have said on the message boards he's an Animated character who's getting added to United because he's proven popular but he will never be classed as a G1 character. Neo-G1 ok, but not G1 which is my reason for not wanting to keep him.
