I think almost all of us would agree on that!

As much as I'm going to love this Bruticus (and the extra Swindle I'm obviously going to get), I'm kinda bummed that they didn't didn't make a Devastator.
craggy wrote:I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro does get around to Devy sooner or later, but Bruticus has a tie-in to promote him, and...well, they love Bruticus. There's been what, 8thousand or so repaints and different versions of him or his component parts?

I still suspect there's more coming for Herc though, as I stated earlier, and that might include a purple barrel, but I doubt they'll replace the black shovel.

Why would having the option of buying another Devastator make Devastator fans angry?zodconvoy wrote:I'm kinda bummed that they didn't didn't make a Devastator. xyl360 wrote:Good points. For the first issue, I'd say play it safe and wait next time to see what all final versions in the set will look like and for the shipping issue, I bought them off of BBTS so they went into my POL with many other purchases, which saved me a bunch on shipping.

(what? it worked with combiners!)

Perhaps, but then what are all those extra connector plugs on Dr Crank for? It was something emgo316 brought up in his review of the figure, I checked mine, and there are several that have absolutely no use in any mode, making me suspect that either another figure or two is coming to combine it in a different way, or there's some hidden combined mode that TFC hasn't shown us yet.

That Freakin' Geek!!!
I see the two "extra" pegs, wasn't there a suggestions that Dr. Crank's alt mode could use them as a stabilizer? I really don't know if this is a real world application or not.
My other thought is that the two pegs keep the robot mode symmetrical.
AFAIK, TFC never agreed or disagreed with what the actual "surprise" was supposed to be. Either that the visor was coming, or that the last two figures would be ready months before the expected release. Also, didn't they post that they were looking at other, non-Transformers projects next? Odd statement, as we've already seen the Reflector and PCC limbs.
I'll keep my mind open regarding more Herc pieces from TFC, but wouldn't they have given us a hint/glimpse of this product by now?
*and just after posting this, I read TFC will be a guest at Animation on Demand http://www.aodsf.org/aod/about/ in two weekends and have some "special announcement". Let's see if speculations will come to fruition.*
