I think for Kitbashing/customs and general repainting need a tutorial with some pics. Nothing too deep like how to build your own Prime (although would be neat as I saw a megs video on youtube)

something like:
materials: do you use acrylic or liquid acrylic matte or gloss. Brushes, synthetic or hair? cheap brushes or x (insert brand). Razorblade for mistakes and wear. Dremel tool for extensive mods. Also what types of plastic can you buy?... brands what to use to cut and create. ball joints?can you buy if able to really get custom I always wondered if you could buy the parts and creat your own stuff. How to create molds would be amazing... what clay and method you use? How to setup your clay on wood with post for sculpting? (you must be fairly skilled for this but robots are easier than Michaelangelo)
Airbrush... airbrush technique with simply do's and don'ts. Can you just use "walmart" airbrush set.. i'm sure you can. What to do before you start... get your idea of course then wash your transformer? after washed should you use alchohol? or thinner? I would also think you could use Prismacolors Markers or other high end marker that don't leave lines. Pigmented markers are REALLY sweet.

So... anyone classy from SanDiego available for this mission? or just pretty good/know what others do?

if your into Magic the Gathering cards those are invaluable articles and stickied in their tutorials artworkforum. I did a few sweet magic gathering transformers i'll post them when i'm done in the artwork section.
