Like the title says, do you guys think that the recent (and future) releases of the FOC bruticus will have an effect on the prices of the other versions currently available? Just curious because I'm in the market for a ROTF and Fansproject upgrade and didn't want to pay the $XXX amount if the price is just going to drop in the near future.

Probably not. The FoC Bruticus fills that specific brand; the FP/RotF fulfills the Classics brand. I'd love to get a Munitioner/Explorer plus parts set myself, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

My guess is: very little. FOC Bruticus isn't sufficiently similar to (or better than) Colossus. In fact, I suspect most would regard Colossus as superior. So, I don't see a whole lot of collectors regarding their Colossus as superseded by FOC Bruticus (and thus looking to part with the former).

That said, the right third-party upgrades to FOC Bruticus could conceivably change this equation. But obviously it's far too early to call that one.

Nope.

Maybe fansproject will do a later run of the Munitioner and explorer but getting that ROTF bruticus for a low price wont happen. FoC Bruticus kinda sucks too so if anything it will drive the price up higher..

If anything, FoC Bruticus will drive UP the going rate for the older version. Not necessarily because it's bad, but because it will drive up interest in the character and other versions of it.
