How do you display your voyager megs? I pushed out the pin closest to his butt and removed the wings and it made the figure much closer to the original not to mention more stable.
You can simply slip the shell over the fig if you want to make him a gun again without it being connected.
Also,With the hole where the wings go in his back free it makes it easy to customize a gun barrel and afix it to his back.
I myself used an empty lip stick container and painted it grey because it is literally a PERFECT substitute for the gun barrel.
I then pushed a modified boby pin through the container and used the hole in megs back to push the end of the pin into and viola! It looks great!
Im getting a phone soon that will allow me to e mail pics to the cpu so I can post em here. Cant wait to get opinions on that.
The absence of the barrel on megs back was the only critique I could give for that figure. After its correction I believe that classics henkei voyager megs is the perfect transformer figure yet.
Im thinking of pushing the pins out of the windown os my convoy prime so that his arms look like they do in the toon but I didnt have the luck of ease that I did with megs. That is the pins didnt budge. Im scarred to push hard as I dont want to dammage the figure.
I also affixed the skoke stacks from my classics universe optimus to the sides of my convoy prime and it looks great.
Has anyone else done anything like this with their megs and prime?

I say wings as they don't really bother me and I don't much care for taking my Transformers apart.

i love megatron with wings. also i refuse to take mine apart considering what i had to go through to get it.

Those wings are awesome! I left them on both Classics & Henkei Megatron.

I'll be moving Henkei Megatron left down my bigger scale Classics shelf and have him with the oversized Titanium Seeker KOs as a pre Earth Megs when the 3rd party one comes along, so I figure the wings will suit him more than ever there. I've never had a problem with them. They give a nice presence to the figure when it's on a shelf.

HM.. Im supprised that noone else so far has taken them off. I would usually never concider taking my figures apart but this was such an easy fix that I had to do it.
I can easily slide the pin back through the wings to put them back on so its not as if he is broken.
I guess I just have a love for the classics exactly as they were. Wings on megs was just too far a stretch for me.
I can see why some would like the wings but for me naah.
Especially now that I have replaced the wings for the gun barrel I made (and I usually hate customized home made parts as they just never seem to look right)
He looks just like he did in the toon. I will finally be able to post pics here soon and I will show what Im talking about.
