Wow. Those guys are serious contenders with Titanium Soundwave.

From personal experience, I gotta say Cybertron Thundercracker, but only cause mine broke at the shoulders after only a few transformations(maybe ten or so). Plus it broke in an unfixable way, or seemingly anyway.

But yeah, Staxx and Bulletbike look pretty bad. The Throttlebots and Battlechargers aren't much better though. Or maybe they're slightly, just slightly, worse. After all, Staxx and Bulletbike look like they actually have legs and arms. They even have integrated weapons too from the look of it.

As far as my collection is concerned, 2007 Movie Swindle has to be the junkiest looking TF I've owned. The alt mode looks decidedly cheap.

Looks-wise, Universe Snowcat has to be the worst in my collection. Mine's the black repaint, and it looks like an obese cyborg ninja.

Those are small toys from long ago. Jetfire's from now and is leader-class. I expect a hell of a lot more nowadays.

From my collection of recent lines of toys I have to nominate Movie Voyager Blackout. His incredible back kibble, inability to stand, poor color, irritating transformation, inability to hold his alt mode together, and crazy-muppet hands, make it impossible for me to even take him off the shelf.

I actually like Armada Sideswipe. Just wish he was a basic. plus how can anyone not like G1 Soundwave. Showed him to a few female friends and they still go on about how cool he is.

Worst TF's?

Legends. Little wastes of space that use up plastic that could be giving us more Scouts and they tease us with repaints that their larger counterparts should be getting - Blades, Ramjet, Sunstorm, I'm looking at you.

Mini-cons: Ugly little pieces of scrap that may have inspired the hideous Movie Aesthetic.

Armada Scavenger

Cybertron Prime and Megatron. Worst versions of both characters ever.

Movie Wheelie, Scalpel, Demolisher and any other Movie bot that spits in the face of the classic TF aesthetic.

First Darth Vader, Obi Wan and Boba Fett TF's. Great vehicle modes but the heads look ridiculous.

Not as small as you might think. IIRC they were about Deluxe size.

And I reiterate, you probably mean Jetfire is the most DISAPPOINTING figure, not the worst. The WORST would have to be disappointing in ALL modes.

-> TF07 Starscream has many times more undercarriage junk and a much worse robot mode
-> Classics/Uni Galvatron is far more flimsy
-> TF07 and TFTM BOTH Leader Megs are more disappointing in transformation and alt modes
-> TFTM The Fallen may as well be an Action Master in a Yoga pose when "Transformed"

Etcetera.

Plus, Jetfire has factors that make up for its shortcomings, like combining with TFTM Leader Prime.

Trust me, there's LOTS worse figures out there, and I really don't see this figure as "the WORST EVER". Which is what this thread is about.

Hah, I like threads like this. I know it's going to be pretty subjective ("One man's garbage is another man's treasure" & all that jazz), but it's fun hearing other ppl's perspectives.

I can understand the complaints, but I'm actually pretty fond of U 2.0 Galvatron (esp the Henkei version); I like how he looks with Cyclonus & Botcon Scourge. I agree that diaper-pants Titanium Soundwave & Cyb. Thundercracker are great contenders for worst figure.

My personal choice for worst ever? G1 Wheelie: That creepy pedophile smile in the middle of his chest (like someone got tired of his stupid rhyming & crushed his head into his neck), extra long arms, silly transformation (lay down & go to sleep, Wheelie; almost as simple as G1 Runamuck/Runabout, but at least they transform themselves) make me want to punch him in his smug inbred orangey face. I am in hate with him. I like the modern Legends Wheelie & not sorry one bit that my old G1 Wheelie got run over by a parent's car. Good riddance; may he rest in hell.

Animated Swoop is the worst figure I've ever owned. Neither his alt mode or robot mode stays together, and the transformation is lazy. It's the only transformer I've ever thrown away.

1st post here so here comes the controversy ROTF voyager class Optimus Prime - so disapointed in this figure , too small
- flimsy cheap plastic - and the biggest crime IMO - there was flash around the edges of the hands as if caused by too high a temp when moulding the parts - for a movie line figure of a main character I was just gutted with mine so Ive gave it away to a kid who lives near my office .

also SW crossover transformer Lukes x wing ( shudders ) - only a zippo and a slingshot could fix this toy .

I can understand your disappointment. ROTF Voyager Prime is only "OK"... especially compared to Leader Class Prime. Sounds like you had some bad luck as far as quality control (with the plastic & hands).

It was stated that cybertron prime and megs were the worst versions of those figures ever created. That is an interesting comment, that needs elaboration. I like cyb prime, didnt care much for megs.

The transformers I hate (well hated) were all the Beast Wars Transformers. I didnt understand it. Transformers worked for me because I like cars and I like robots. The large blocky aesthetic was stunning to me. Animals that turned into skinny organic looking robots did nothin for me. That line was when I thought I had "grown out" of Tranformers. Time passed and my opinion has changed on Beast Wars. I have retroactively picked up a few. Line was nice, toys were well designed.

I hate a lot of the movie line. Still.

well in my opinion the voyager prime is bad because there are so many repaints of the fu#king thing its not even funny! i might have bought it when it was first released (it was better than the leader) but now, i wont touch it.
and another bad one was the ROTF megs, both leader and voyager. i have the leader but i have been customizing it for almost a year now just to get a movie accurate toy for gods sake! i wont want to get another one.

In my experience... Beast Wars Transquito. Beast Wars had some crummy molds and some epically awesome molds, but I really think Transquito was at the bottom of the barrel

Mixmaster from the ROTF Devastator set. Honestly this thing never shuts up! I would try and take the batteries out but that means Devastator wouldn't make those noises in bot mode which i think are really cool. however Scavenger makes up for it by being so goddamn big and awesome.

ROTF Voyager Megs is a nice cool toy. you should get it before commenting.. doesn't mean the Leader Megs suck means the Voyager sucks too.. Its like saying because Supreme Devesator sucks means the Legends one sucks.. which is not true at all (IMHO). I have to give this to Bulletbike. At least Staxx looks like a truck in alt mode (though my girlfriend did point out that "he looks like a Soviet janitor" in robot mode). Bulletbike doesn't look like anything in either mode.

A far as G1 goes, Broadside, for both lame transformation and utterly puerile modes. He transforms from a robot... to a jet... to an AIRCRAFT CARRIER?!? So, in theory, he could land on himself?

The modes aren't really the biggest problem - the biggest problem is his 'personality'. They decided flawed characters were the best, so they went overboard with him - he gets seasick AND is scared of heights!

His carrier mode looks decent, his plane mode is kinda meh (though it does look vaguely like an F-86 Sabre), and his bot mode is blech times five. Yet he still is better than Bulletbike, who WAS G1, BTW.

The "worst" figure in my collection would have to be G1 Galvatron. I hated that toy when I was a kid, and I hate it now.

I bought a small ROTF Tankor as a stocking gift for my son this year, and it kept breaking apart every freakin' time I tried to transform it.

my best friend has it and one day i went to his place and looked at it and i did not like it one bit. the bot mode is hardly movie accurate! but the alt mode is very accurate. the leader has an accurate bot mode while the voyager has an accurate alt mode. it bugs me.

My worst figure I still own would still have to be Armada Sideways. He hides behind black Unicron in the Black Prime/Convoy shelf in alt mode. I love the mini-cons for him but the bot mode is horrible. Oddly enough, if I saw one in front of me on the store shelf, I'd probably buy it. I think it's the riders that sell me.

Rather sad when the mincons are better than the 'main' toy.

I never really like any of the small bots from G1. I hate Brawn and will never own one. The whole "head-as-part-of-body" crap just bothers me. Brawn isn't the only one like that, but he is the example or my least favorite style of figure. Figure=sleeping pill.
