Yet again nice dream auto bot but it won't happen hasbro doesn't own the rights I think there owned by the people who put on botcon but I'm not sure. I figure the only way we will see any sort of mass production of a botcon figure is if takara picks them up because they are a total different market from us.

Sure, they can have figures that will not be available anywhere else.
But only for a limited time. Say, 6 months or 1 year. After which, Hasbro has the option of choosing some or all for mass production.
Yeah but that ruins the idea of limited edtition. I say offer em on hasbros webcite and a day then everybody's got a small chance of gettin em.

It will still be limited and expensive, for a period of time. Some collectors just can't wait. So they'll still be swimming in a pool of money.
Then later on, we, the ordinary mortals, will have the chance to enjoy being a true fan.

Absolutely not, Hasbro owns the rights of anything and all over Trans Formers world, the idea of exclusives is to reward people who is being, in a way, "fan" and is whiling to spend some extra cash, of course not everybody has or will have the chance to acquire an exclusive toy, they are a reward for some selected ones that had the it credit card not pass due at the moment

Hey see yah at BOTCON!
