UPDATE! The game is not a fighting game, but rather a Dynasty Warriors type hack-n-slash. However, the storyline, hidden characters, and other items are still true. The VS mode may be thrown in as an extra feature.
What can we expect from the new Transformers video game (listed for a June 3rd release)? Well, it´s a fighting game, so there´ll be the ´single player mode´ where you´ll play as the Autobot heroes through the events of Seasons 1-3 and the movie.
Then there´ll be the VS mode where you and a friend can fight it out. Autobot VS Decepticon or have some brutal in-fighting in the ranks. You decide.
Also, there´ll be several hidden characters that you´ll unlock as you progress through the game. Mostly Season 2/3/movie bots and cons. The graphics will impress fans, though.

Rodimus99 reports that the Babbages store in the Santa Rosa Plaza (northern California) lists in their computer a game called "
Transformers Tatakai." It
is for the Playstation 2 and set to release on June 3rd. There was no
information on what the game format was or the producer. The title, "Transformers Tatakai!", translates roughly into "Transformers Fighting", "Transformers Battle" or "Transformers Battles". From the name of the title it sounds like a fighting game of sorts ... but it could be a war game as well. This could very well be the G1 Transformers game that has been rumored the past few months which is in development by Japan´s WinkySoft. An American publisher has not yet been named. Possible images from "Transformers Tatakai" can be found at
tformers.com.
