As nice as the art is, and as funny as Hotrod looks, I still prefer the April Fools Version...

Wow, that was pretty good. I like the set a bit more now.

Haha! Brilliant! I loved the April Fool's version, but the fact that they really did go with the "evil mustache" look for at least Hot Rod makes me think this won't be that too far off from it.

Nice, I can't wait for this, I just hope there's a way for non-attendee's like me to find/read this short of spending a ton of $$$.I wonder if Rodimus will be part of the figure set, although I'm not to fond of the facial hair. Is that CJ or not, because Rodimus calls him Jumper.

i like how this ties into timelines part 2. cliffjumper gets lost in a cave at the beginning and bug bite is from an alternate universe (not shattered glass by the way)

Sweet! Ruckus! Now there's a bot that needs the Alter-Tech treatment.

You know, I really enjoyed the April Fool. It was a really fun throwback that had some excellent nods to the past. Have to say that this is almost just as good. But that's largely owed to Ruckus' presence.

I dig it! I like the classics Cliffjumper and Hot Rods stache! Can't wait to get one at Botcon!

This fails compared to that G2-esque comic. The G2 feel really added to the strangeness of the nature of the repaints and characters. And that 'Til All Are Gone' text REALLY feels like it came off a G2 figure!

Something tells me that's not Rodimus.

I liked the look and story of the April Fools comic too. But this is good too. I love that Rodimus! We NEED to have a figure of him! He must be one of the add-ons. Let's see, so the line up so far is:

Haha, evil stache! It kinda does make him look distinguished, though for some reason I still think of Wreck-Gar.

I was wondering if they were going to have a type of story where one bot falls through a wormhole type off thing or if they were just going to start a story set in the alternate universe and have no cross over. Either way, I'm intrigued.

Once more art, colors, and all visual concepts are great, I can't wait to see the entire comic!!

The red guy is classics cliffjumper.
the black and purple guy is Rodimus.

Never heard of that faction before. Maybe they have something to do with bouncing, and having fun? Close allies with the EEyorecons...

Anyway, yes, they had the pop out weaponry.

Although the design for Crankcase reminds me of Leader-1, Armada Meg's minicon that is- except the shoulder mounted cannons which are like his G1 form.
