Oh, jaws are hitting floors... if he is any yard stick, Scorponok could be massive

Need a jaw drop to the floor emoticon!
So it seems it's cheaper to make new molds than re-issue ( reference to g1 Scorponok). Please Hb or TT, re-issue G1 Scorponok first the way you re-issued Trypticon G1

Yeah, this is good stuff
On another note, oh man, that molded detail is lush, like nothing else, gotta wonder if it'll all make it through to the final production model, and if so, just how much of it will be painted. He could have incredible potential for customized paint jobs

I believe you, abnd you may have, but, between SDCC and the Shanghai Cybertron-Con, and the staffs' personal lives, it's been a very hectic week; but, this is a discussion thread, so let us know now, where you found it at and at what price
I can't remember the name of the town it's in, but the closest TRU is about a half-hour away from where I live (a small town in the state of Ohio in the U.S.A. about 15 minutes away from the city of Toledo), so it's not really local. I found Fort Max at the same price they did. I didn't buy him because I can can't afford him right now and I didn't take any photos because I didn't didn't have my phone on me. I did buy Blurr and Skullsmasher while I was there, though.

He does seem massive,,, look at soundwave attached! Wonder if they will somehow build him with a possibility of reengineering him into something else. Also... Wil he have a Titan master head gimmick. Maybe it will just be a separate vehicle?
Wonder bout hasbro' strategy. They held six shot, prime and trypticon reveals for this show, almost snubbing sdcc. They did hint with some artwork... Might be timing or it was some particular marketing plans who knows. Looks like a very strong effort and I'm curious to see hasbro con.
When will the next show/ event take place where we can expect some more news?

Fangry- I'm thinking this is probably transformed wrong. Just as most of the other titan masters could be transformed to have a face showing, but instead usually show off the titan masters legs/chest to fill in the empty spaces of the vehicle/dino/wolf mode, I don't think Fangry is supposed to be showing off the robot face. That said, I won't be the one to stop you, should you decide to 'Krang' it up with your own Fangry!
Sixshot- I noticed the back of the wolf head was empty in some images, an not in others. It looks like it is designed for his titan master to fill in that space.

Oh and stu when you mentioned a potential repaint of tryp, I think you meant gigastorm not gigatron
As for how tryp looks...my god he is a beautiful beast, can't wait to see him against his rival metroplex.
As for the other reveals, looks like thin tankor is finally getting a good figure after his universe figure. Though optimus does look good in the mold has it already been explained though about what happened to the other head he was rumoured to come with?
Everything else is shaping up really well though I guess this is the last of the official reveals this year?

Ah yeah, thanks i knew it was Giga something. I still say if the head detaches it could potentially form a weird tank Brunt mode, that the Titan Master(my guess he could be named Full Tilt?) could ride about in....or on.

I completely forgot! Yes, its a Toys R Us store, £25 each. Only had one of each however, so I am not sure how stock will look elsewhere. Now they have everything in my TRU except Leaders and Deluxes!

next time I'm in tru, I may have to acquire all their titan masters...though it would be nice for them to have a 3 for 2 sale or something.
Posted by Kurona on July 30th, 2016 @ 4:40am CDT
I don't think he'll be a Titan Master, mind. They will have done designs for all three poll options before the poll went up - Trypticon, Scorponok and Omega Supreme - so they likely designed them to not have line-unique gimmicks; aside from things their original toys had like Scorponok's headmaster gimmick and Trypticon's ability to connect to base-mode figures. Talking of which, I'm really starting to miss Onslaught not having a base mode...

His version however had a vehicle launch mechanism which mine didn't have (his might've been asian in origin, mine was from the uk)
One thing I only learnt recently is that they could join with trypticon in base mode. A way perhaps to counter metroplex's ability to be augmented by combiner limbs.

If they did that would mean they did the designing blueprints, then all the back and forth with takara for the engineering, then made the mold, then made the prototype... in 7 months. Which is insane, especially for a new mold. So yeah, they must have started before so that we can have these kinds of pics now, which means (unless we had no choice afterall) that all 3 different titans were set up and ready to begin production, past the design and engineering stage.
I think several folks theorized that from the get go, and absolutely agree with you.
It's exciting for sure. Can't wait to see more.

That's really good. Hopefully it means the next two Titan class bots will be those guys. I'm not gonna lie I didn't want this. I mean I wanted all three, but Omega Supreme got my vote by far and Scorponok lingered behind him. This guy was a far far third. these teases have shown me the error of my ways. I still want Omega and Scorponok, but I think waiting another year for them will be much easier to swallow with this guy.

Speaking of grey sculpted details.
A.) That hip joint clear plastic looks like it has planet key detailing (coincidence?), although I'm not positive it is the beast planet key outline or not...and there seems to be a tiny molded Decepticon symbol on it's grey part as well.
B.) I believe I caught a glimpse of grey model full-tilt sitting on top of Trypticon's city mode (above High Brow).

Now if only we could get leaks of the designs for the other two.

So many potential repaints...
Metroplex into Metrotitan and/or Necrotitan
Fort Max into Brave Max
Trypticon into Gigastorm
And if they get to Omega supreme and Scorponok?
Omega Supreme into Omega Sentinel, Omega Doom (Diaclone Omegatron), and Omega Spreem
Scorponok into Black Zarak

I am sure it will. Most toys that we have do have a ton of molded detail but it gets lost in the colour plastic. It always looks more detailed in the prototype grey or the blueprint images.

I think they really wanted to put Cybertron Con on the map and truly appropriate that convention. And maybe show the west what is in store and that conventions are in good hands in the future.
The next show with reveals will be NYCC October 6th, just 2 months away.
